Geoscientist with 8 years of experience working in different phases of exploration, delineation and development projects in Venezuela onshore and offshore areas with a major oil company. Effective communication skills in English and Spanish. Diverse background, including particular emphasis on integrated geophysical interpretation of seismic data, well log information and core measurements to produce derivative products such as AVO and Impedances related attributes for litho-facies classification. Seismic 2-D and 3-D interpretation experience using Seiswork2D/3D and 3-D Volume interpretation and Visualization using Geoprobe. Pore pressure estimation experience in offshore environment using Predict software. Proficient in Hampsom and Russell software (Strata and AVO), experience using Landmark (Seiswork2D/3D, Depth Team Express, Wellbore Planner), Geoprobe, Voxelgeo, GeoViz, GeoDepth-Probe-Paradigm, and Microsoft Office.

Extensive experience working with multidisciplinary teams on field studies, prospect screening, delineation and development projects. Geographic areas worked include: offshore gas exploration, delineation and development project in the Plataforma Deltana area located south-east of Trinidad and Tobago in offshore Venezuela; exploration projects in Foothill areas in eastern Venezuela and also on the transition zone of the eastern Venezuelan basin.

Technically evaluated and quantified the reserve potential of the Plataforma Deltana project, as a member of a geoscientist team that produced an exploratory drilling program that generated about 50 drillable exploration and delineation locations in this project, and successfully evaluated the first prospect by drilling one well that found several reservoirs of gas and some condensate. Leading part of the geophysical task needed to complete the technical evaluation, such as velocity model building and depth conversion, pore pressure estimation and geomechanical model generation for casing program design, reservoir characterization by using well log-based statistical rock physics analysis for litho-facies classification from seismic attributes (AVO, Elastic and Acoustic Impedance) combined with rock physics diagnostic tools to get a better understanding of the link between reservoir seismic properties and its petrophysical, sedimentology and elastic parameters.

Academic background includes geophysics, geology and reservoir engineering and a technical specialization focus on seismic reservoir characterization projects, including 4D feasibility studies. Work experience in seismic processing projects such as 3-D and 2-D imaging projects for complex structures and also QC of seismic acquisition project for 2-D, 3-D surface seismic, and VSP and Check-shot surveys.
