„Y In offshore Projects Basic Engineering Special Task Force Team working as Manager. Job involves basic engineering and management functions such as formulation of project execution strategy, design basis of various process platforms and FPSO projects, studying Tender specifications and preparing engineering and commissioning plan, estimating MTOs and engineering and commissioning man-hours, developing WBS and level 3 activities in Primavera, reviewing vendor quotations for E&I discipline, preparing engineering, management and progress measurement procedures for bidding of following projects:

(April 2000 - Aug. 2002) - SAMSUNG HEAVY INDUSTRIES KOJE YARD, S-KOREA

Lead Instrumentation Engineer/ Project Controls Manager in various phases of Cakerawala Gas field Development Project for client CTOC (BP + Triton Oil company). $520 million, consortium based EPCC project. One 18,000 T process platform with the largest CO2 removal system in offshore, one Gas Compression platform, three well platforms and one FSO. Prime responsibilities were as follows:

„Y Engineering stage as Lead Instrument Engineer responsible for preparing engineering procedures, quantifying design deliverables, DCS, F&G and vendor package control system configuration and integration activities, writing functional specifications for DCS and SAFE charts for SDS and FGS, developing commissioning system interface limits, system check sheets and commissioning procedures.
„Y Construction period in PM Team along with engineering coordination, project controls, planning and invoice calculations, sub-contract control, developing progress measurement procedures for invoicing and also interface engineering support.
„Y Six months offshore HUC phase in Malaysia offshore as Lead E&I commissioning engineer executing the commissioning activities of all the platforms DCS/PLC/SDS FGS in addition to vendor package control systems. Involved in System testing and start-up, system completion and hand-over using British Petroleum's computerized MANCON system. Handling interface issues with other packages at offshore.

(1989 ~ 2000) - OIL & NATURAL GAS CORPORATION LTD. (ONGC), INDIA

Joined ONGC in 1989 in Engineering and Project Management as Instrument Engineer, Lead E&I Engineer/Project engineer for various Turnkey Projects:

1. BCP-A & B gas process platforms project (1995-1999) - USD 315 Million. Two Gas Compression platforms 45 MMSCMD, conversion of conventional Control system in 4 existing gas process platforms to DCS, PLC based F&GS and SDS system and integration of 6 (3+3) process platforms. Modification of existing Gas Dehydration Units. Worked as Project Lead Engineer for Company - Conceptual engineering, formulation of Design basis and specifications for DCS & PLC controls, Detailed engineering, Writing functional specifications of DCS, Developing SAFE charts, Electrical PMS, commissioning procedures. Monitoring using Primavera, supervision of offshore commissioning works.

2. Additional Compressor module in HRC platform along with DCS up-gradation (1999 ~ 2000). Approx. US$ 80 Million - Lead Instrument engineer of Company. Conceptual study, design criteria and basic engineering, quantifying process loops, I/O points, CE matrix, basic data sheet of DCS, SDS and F&G systems, field instruments. Developing control system architecture, interface of the compressor controls with the main DCS, commissioning and operation procedures, developing system limit drawings and interface plan.

3. ZA well platform in Bombay High (1999 ~ 2000) (US$ 80 Mil.) - Lead Instrument engineer as above including SCADA link with existing process complex DCS.

4. Neelam Process Complex (1993 ~ 1995)- US$ 540 Million. Neelam field development project comprising of 3 Process and 9 well platforms in Mumbai offshore. - Project Management Services group handling technical & project management issues throughout project schedule, During 6 months offshore HUC period as E&I commissioning engineer from ONGC.

5. Captive power project of onshore Oil & Gas process complex(1990 ~ 1993) - Electrical & Control System Engineer basic engineering till commissioning of 5 nos. of 3 MW each PLC controls based Gas Turbine Power plants. Job included firming up of controls specifications, Basic engineering of the project, Bid evaluation and award of the work, during detail engineering determining the control system size and data sheet, reviewing the controls architecture, data sheets of Electrical generation, controls and distribution system. Hands-on commissioning experience of the PLC based control system of all 3 Captive power plants.

6. Drilling Rig. Technical Div. - Electrical and Control system engineer (1989 ~ 1990) - Job included commissioning of ACSCR rigs and trouble shooting faults of several rigs operating in the area.

* M/s DORIS Engineering in Paris, France for preparing bid documents of Moho-Bilondo FPU project in Jan-2003.
* M/s Technip Co-flexip, Kuala Lumpur as lead E&I engineer for CTOC Project in 2002.
* Malaysian offshore in CTOC project for 6 months in 2002. As Lead E&I commissioning engineer commissioned the DCS/PLC and SCADA systems and vendor packages.
* M/s Samsung Heavy Industries Ltd. Korea - Technical and Project controls manager of CTOC project at SHI's Koje fabrication yard, S-Korea. April-2002 onwards
* M/s Kawasaki Heavy Industries, Kobe, Japan - As ONGC's Engineering Manager to engineering center ensured completion of the engineering activities of the of 6 nos. gas compression modules of 7.5 MMSCMD each in Jan¡¦98-Mar¡¦98 for Booster Compressor Project.
* M/s Hyundai Heavy Industries, Ulsan, S-Korea - As Commissioning Engineer for supervising Company's activities related to Moduling & testing of the six gas compression modules, 7.5 MMSCMD each in Nov-Dec¡¦98.
* Mumbai offshore BCP Platform Project - As Company's commissioning engineer in offshore during shutdown period of 6 process platforms and saving 8 days of shutdown period resulting in considerable savings of gas production.
* Training in Houston,USA on oil & gas offshore Installations - Nov-Dec 1995
* More than 800 days offshore deputation and several fabrication yard deputation experience in Oil & Gas installations and rigs for EPC projects.
