I am a Coiled Tubing Engineer/Supervisor. I have worked for both Schlumberger and Halliburton in various parts of the world over the past 5 years and have a very good track record.
OBJECTIVE:
I am seeking work as a coiled tubing engineer / supervisor. I have a strong preference for a rotating position out of Australia but I am will to relocate if the location is right.
WORK EXPERIENCE:
Company: HALLIBURTON
Period: June 2003 – Dec 2004
Location: Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk, Russian Federation.
Position: Coiled Tubing Supervisor and then Engineer. (Contractor on a rotation schedule)
JOB DESCRIPTION: Nightshift coiled tubing supervisor. Responsible for running coiled tubing units and associated equipment. Supervising crew on location and liaison with client Exxon Neftegas Limited. Designing and reporting jobs on an engineering level. Land operations included: Running 2-3/8" coiled tubing on Halliburton 95K CTUs to deploying Schlumberger e-Fire perforating guns. Up to 380 meter gun strings were deployed using the Schlumberger CIRP deployment system and Western Well Tools hydraulic tractors. Wells were record breaking extended reach, MDs of 30,000ft with only 8,500ft TVD. Other operations included PLT, gauge runs and PDM motor runs.

Position: Coiled Tubing DESK Engineer. (Contractor)
JOB DESCRIPTION: DESK Engineer representing Halliburton, based in the Santos head office in Adelaide, Australia. Responsible for the engineering of all coiled tubing operations in the Cooper Basin field. Operations included coiled tubing under balanced drilling, milling, cement plugs, sand cleanouts, nitrogen kickoffs, fishing and Cobra-Frac Pin-Point fracturing.

Description: Technical and practical operational training covering all aspects of the Design, Execution and Evaluation cycle for Coiled Tubing Services. Technical Training covered: Down hole hydraulics, fluid rheology, job auditing, nitrogen calculations nitrogen kick-offs, down hole tool applications, sand fill cleanouts, scale removal, conveying fluids for matrix treatments, setting packers/plugs, cementing, milling, fishing, coiled tubing logging and data acquisition. Advanced understanding of the Schlumberger CoilCAT and CoilCADE software (TFM, STR) for job design, execution and evaluation. Also covered: Safety and loss prevention standards and Coiled Tubing contingency planning. Operational training covered: Operation and maintenance of Coiled Tubing Units, well control equipment, nitrogen pump units, fluid pump units and down hole tools.

Intermediate training on the design and execution of coiled tubing drilling, coiled tubing completions, coiled tubing logging, Scale Blaster, Discovery Multilateral tools and DepthLOG.
