* Review of field quality plans, job procedures, inspection test plans submitted by field contractor and recommend modifications wherever necessary
* Checking that approved procedures, proper methods, technology and proper techniques are used and proper tools / tackles / machinery's are deployed
* Checking the availability of drawings / documents / data to ensure that work can proceed without interruption
* Ensuring the availability of material and physical fronts
* Verification of brought out items, preparation of deficiency note if any and recommending corrective action plan.
* Processing material issue vouchers, return vouchers and deviation statements.
* Job expediting, monitoring and furnishing critical feed back to superiors.
* Witnessing the field testing as per mutually agreed inspection test plans
* Raising non-conformity reports and deficiency report for defective materials / works
* Analyzing non-conformities and recommending corrective actions after cause and effect analysis
