RESPONSIBILITIES
* Piping plan, spooling, MTO preparation, weld map production, material traceability, field design and installation of process piping and as-built drawing production.
* Inspect witness and review of all construction activities including prefabrication, welding and testing, blasting, painting, piping works, etc, report preparation as per requirements and Inspection activities with various discipline inspectors- client, subcontractor and third party inspectors.
* Preparation, review and approval of Welding Procedure Specification (WPS), Procedure Qualification Record (PQR) for various welding combinations in accordance with relevant codes, standards and specification and conducting PQR and Welders performance qualification tests as per ASME SEC IX, AWS D1.1 and API1104.
* Dimensional control and design analysis of structural and piping fabrications.
* Experience in various inspection methods (destructive and non-destructive) like PT, MPT, RT film thickness, visual adhesion test, pinhole and holiday detection. NDT co-ordination and procedures review.
* Review project drawings with reference to contract specification codes, standards and specifications.
* Assist in the preparation/review and approval of Quality Assurance plan/inspection test plan for various inspection activities.
