Rig site planning was carried out with a lesser requirement on office generated programmes and a high reliance on rig site judgment.
Operations included ERD, horizontal wells, pre-packed screens, gravel packs and ESP completions. Supervised Alba Close Proximity Wells (46" driven caisson, dual internal 18" conductors) saving 3 rig days. Four of the last 6 wells/workovers in 1995 completed less than planned days. Supervised successful coiled tubing operations for sand control. Responsible for the HSE aspects of field operations such as setting expectations regarding safety standards and setting leadership example.
