Presently I am working at M/s Kerala Electrical and Allied Engineering company Ltd (Famously Known As KEL, Suppliers of Alternator for Various Railways and defense), Kollam, Kerala as Shift Engineer at their Alternator production plant at Kollam, Kerala. I am twenty-five years of age and possess a valid Indian passport. JOB PROFILE
At M/s Kerala Electrical And Allied Engg Co. LTD.:
- Reporting to production manager and works manager.
- Supervision, men & material Mgt of M/c. shop, Fab. Shop and foundry & preparation of estimates.
- Production planning, scheduling, Work Allocation and execution for shops.
- Maintain quality, productivity, safety & health, workspace mgt. on the M/c and fabrication shop.
- Select and design appropriate process, machines, tools, dies, jigs &fixtures etc.
- Quality Inspection of production parts, incoming materials and finished goods v Maintenance and periodic inspection of machines, material Handing equipments, fork lifts, EOT Cranes, Air compressor, Welding M/Cs, DG Sets, etc.
- Responsible for setup of m/cs, define necessary modification for tools &m/c, train workers.
- Drawing Interpretation, conduct training and skill rating for labors.
- Monitor process in the area of responsibilities & report the abnormality to shift supervisors.
- Intimation of shortfall and ensure the availability of labor, instruments, raw materials, inserts, Consumables, parts etc. to respective department.
- Prepare work instructions, work norms and manpower utilization statements.
- Undertake/inform scheduled, preventive, breakdown and day-to-day maintenance.
- Control of prodn. Progress, prepare of shift notice, work orders, shift arrangement.
- Offering of finished goods to QAD and intimate the respective departments.
- Implement all safety & healthy, Quality policy, ISO Standards & guidelines and conduct ISO Audits v Maintain office records, Material, labor, production and maintenance logbooks.
- Responsible to conduct source inspection for suppliers, deal with quality related issues & establish component quality as per specification/customer requirement.
