Piping Construction Engineer - position within TECHNIP Organization for Project Management Services provided to AGIP GAS B. V. Libyan Branch.
TECHNIP OIL & GAS B. V., LIBYAN BRANCH, Wafa Desert, Libya
Western Libya Gas Project, Wafa Desert Plant – Oil and Gas Separation, Dehydration, Gas Sweating and Compression Facilities, Gathering System including Well Sites, Satellites, flowlines and trunklines.
* Reports to the Discipline Coordinator.
* Responsible for monitoring and inspecting the piping activities (shop fabrication, field erection, tests & inspections on Central Plant, pipelines, well site & satellite facilities) carried out by the EPC Contractor named JTS (JGC – Technimont – Sofregaz), through direct follow-up of construction work, ensure Agip Standards, Project Specifications, EPC Work Procedures and schedules are adhered to.
* Specifically, monitoring the safety conditions during the construction phase, verifying the physical progress and quality level of the piping construction work for proper review of the Progress Report presented by the EPC Contractor, checking EPC Contractor's Construction Quality Plan and Inspection Plan implementation, to review and comment the EPC Contractor field issues (method statements, work procedures, plans and field sheets), issuing punch lists.
