Worked as the Deputy Lead Structural Engineer for this one lakh structural manhour project involving over 20 engineers and 25 designers. Responsibilities included all technical coordination, Input to planning and budgeting, Input to preparation of design basis and brief, Design reviews etc. The project involved engineering of 9 modules along with 5 piperacks which were the scope of work offloaded to TP Abudhabi from TP Paris. Analyses included for Inplace, Fatigue(Deterministic),Seismic and Preservice conditions.

DALIA FPSO PROJECT
Client: Total Fina Elf, Angola
Project involved detailed engineering of topside modules for a floating production storage and offloading unit at Angola for TFEA. Responsibilities included detailed engineering for production and separation modules. Analyses included Inplace, Transit, Damaged and Fatigue conditions. Worked as the Deputy Lead Engineer with a team of around 20 engineers and designers. Out of the total 12 modules on the FPSO, 4 process modules were offloaded to Technip AbuDhabi for Engineering.

Project involved a Re-FEED of two Four Legged well head platforms. Responsibilities included inplace and preservice analysis of jackets and a Common Deck.

Project involved a Reassessment study of four existing platforms. Responsibilities included performing inplace and fatigue analysis for Falah "C" and Falah "D" platforms and structural study of modifications required for screening study options.

ZWSC GGII SOUR GAS FLARE ELIMINATION PROJECT

Project involved Detailed engineering of modifications on GGII platform in Zakum field. Responsibilities included inplace and preservice analysis of deck extension and equipment skid.

Work involved Basic Engineering of a Process platform and a Well head platform. The scope also included detail engineering of the jacket for the well head platform. My Responsiblities included leading a team of engineers in performing the analysis ( Inplace, Seismic and Preservice) for both the platforms and temporary deck design. I was also responsible for the initial study for the options of type of Rig for the selection of the well head platform.

SOORSH- NOROOSH FIELD DEVELOPMENT PROJECT

The project involved detail engineering of five platforms, two bridges and flare tower. My responsibilities included detailed engineering of the two bridges and secondary steel design of one of the platform decks involving equipment supports, Access platforms, Pipe supports, Monorails etc.

involved in pre bid engineering of three offshore platforms (both process and well head platforms)connected with bridges. The job also involved M.T.O for the same.
The work involved inplace and pre service analysis.All the analysis for this project wascarried on using SACS software. The job was done while on deputation to Houston,
Texas.

DHDS
Client: L&T/HPCL, Vizag.

This was a 300 crore refinery project done by L&T for HPCL at Vizag.
The job included detailed engineering and preparation of drawings for H2,
DHDS and substation units, involving design of RCC framed structure having beam spans upto 15mts and beam depth upto 1.2mts. The H2 and DHDS units consisted of Tech structures, compressor house and pipe racks, which were of steel framing with cross bracing's & were supporting vessels, exchangers and air fin coolers. All the foundations were on piles. The job also included design of equipment foundation, like feed filter package, pumps (static loading only), exchangers and vessels. I was one of the Deputy lead engineers responsible for leading a team of engineers and draughts persons in completing the above project successfully.

Bayer Chlor – Alkali Plant
Client: Kvaerner Houston/Bayer, USA.

The job was offloaded by Kvaerner process, Houston and included detailed engineering and preparation of drawings for refinery plant. The work involved design & analysis of control building and cell building which consisted of steel framing with RCC deck. The foundations were of shallow isolated /
combined footings. It also involved design of pipework, equipment support /
platform, transformer foundations and ground piping details. All the design were in accordance with AISC / ACI codes.

Acro New Front End
Client: Kvaerner Houston/Acro Chemical Company, USA.

This job was sublet by Kvaerner process, Houston and involved detailed engineering & preparation of drawings for process structure and pipe rack. The process structure had two levels supporting exchangers and drums. The job also included design of pipe support and connections using STAAD III & DESCON
respectively. All the designs were in accordance with AISC / ACI codes.
