Twenty years experience in the petrochemical; oil & gas and mining industry involving design, construction and maintenance of facilities including, but not limited to, the following:

Senior Piping Designer / Section Leader

Design of Onshore and Offshore facilities from plant layout and conceptual design, through to detailed engineering and construction. I have thirteen years PDS experience in Piping & Equipment modelling as well as Isometric and system support, Specification generation and Clash management.

Duties performed include:
Site survey, plant layout, tie-in sketches, studies, general arrangements, isometrics, material take-off, checking, man hour estimates, scheduling, progress reporting and supervision of design office personnel. Training of engineering and construction personnel in the use of PDS and Smart Plant Review.

Cad Systems used include:
PDS (Piping; Equipment; Reference Data; Pipe Support; P&ID and Isogen); Smart Plant Review; Microstation and Autocad

I am also conversant with many other software packages including Microsoft Word, Microsoft Access and Microsoft Excel used in the course of my professional duties.

Field Engineer

Construction of petrochemical and mineral processing facilities from pre-award, through to start up.

Duties performed include:
Planning and estimating; Bid analysis; Construction supervision; Tie-in co-ordination Processing Design Queries; Quality Control; Progress Reporting; Safety Management and all other duties associated with this role.
