Employer: Spanish Factory.
Position: Chief Maintenance Engineer.
Duties: Maintenance, repair & troubleshoot to the factory machinery.
This factory has two sections:
One with PET Injection, Stretch, Blow & Moulding Machines for the production of PET bottles (the bottles used for the soft drinks) together with other related machinery for transport, packing and storage the bottles. These machines have diverse automation systems (PLCs, pneumatics, electronics & hydraulic systems).
I spent some periods in Japan at these machines factory, commissioning the final adjustments to the new machines before send every new machine to Spain.
The second section is in charge for the soft drinks filling up with different kind of machinery (filling, labelling, packing, transport, storage, etc.). In this section, I carried out upgrades with PLCs and other automation systems to old machinery as well the maintenance, repair and troubleshoot.
