Job Description

Job Title: Quality, Health, Safety & Environment Coordinator

Job Responsibility: To ensure Quality Assurance and control Procedures are followed. Preparation of Quality and HSE audits. Update and revise Quality and HSE procedures and control the issue of such
Reporting To: Country Manager

Responsibilities:

1. To ensure all Quality Assurance and HSE Procedures are followed.
2. Prepare Quality and HSE Audit Plan for the country
3. Follow these plans and perform audits as specified in the HSE Program Manual and the Quality Assurance Manual
4. Organize and conduct training in regard to Quality and HSE as well as job related training
5. Prepare and submit reports as requested by management.
6. Control and update the HSE and Quality Manuals as required and keep records of issues to controlled copy holders
7. Conduct Procedure Review meetings
8. To update and maintain the Quality Assurance Manual in view to ISO certification and re-certification.
9. To ensure that procedures and work instructions are followed through training and auditing
10. To provide tools and methods to all employees to enable them to work efficiently within the framework of Weatherford- Yemen Quality System Manual.
11. To draft and upgrade policies, procedures and work instructions to give department heads the tools and instruments to achieve and maintain the high quality standards and to provide services and products, meeting customer requirements.
12. To continuously train employees on procedures and in technical aspects of our services and products and co-ordinate training within Weatherford or externally as required.
13. To create and maintain a safe and healthy working environment.
14. To stay in contact with other entities in regards to training, safety and quality aspects and report these information to Country Manager.
15. To set goals and methods on how to achieve these and discuss the same with the Country Manager.
16. Keeping training records of base personnel and field personnel up to date.
17. Check regularly all first aid equipment in the yard completeness including first aid boxes, eye wash stations and validity of fire extinguisher checks.
18. Report any accident, incident, near miss incident observed in the yard.
19. Initiate changes to HSE procedures and initiate new procedures if deemed necessary.
20. Conduct daily HSE morning & monthly meetings.
21. Assist workshop work force in filling out accident, incident and near miss incident reports.
22. To maintain and achieve goals set in the HSE plan and objectives.
23. Accept any reasonable assignment as given by the Country Manager.
