Projects Handled
* As a PDMS administration is a centralized activity, Support to the all PDMS projects executed during my tenure were handled by Team of 3 persons including myself.
Some of the achievements of this development team in this office are listed below.
* Development of macros for automatic drawing production, utility tools for designers to save on time (normally it took around 8 hours for 1 drawing and using this macro the time taken was reduced to 4-5 hours per drawing), macros for checking the consistency of pipes, Macro for interactive clash check of pipes, Equipment, Cables, Structures etc.
* Introduced the concept of handling the PDMS catalogue activity in a Central team for all the running projects and in the process built a Central Library of PDMS Catalogue database, which is shared by all the running projects in UHDE India office. By this method the accuracy of PDMS catalogue was ensured and errors in Design were almost eliminated.
* The Clash check program of PDMS lists so many clashes, which included many dummy clashes. It becomes difficult to identify the real clashes and invariably users ignored real clashes. To overcome this problem we developed a macro, which shows the user each clash one by one on the screen. At a time only one clash is shown. This ensured that user is guided through all the clashes and he will not miss real clashes.

Achievements
* Has been to UHDE Germany for three months to develop and implement Supports creation utility per Uhde Standard supports using PML and the same has been Successfully implemented for all UHDE global offices as a standard tool for supports placement.
* Sent to Uhde South Africa for 15days to resolve PDMS problems and to setup and streamline PDMS systems at site office.
As a PDS Administrator
