Drilling Engineer in Abu Dhabi with TOTAL ABK
Routine tasks: in the morning I receive by email the DDR, I check it and import it in the Wellview database. Then I receive also by email the reports from Geoservices and I update the files with bits performances. After this I update the file with the drilling performances. Then I go to the briefing with all the drilling staff. Filling, updating the drilling performance database (actual vs. BCT). Analysing the results, writing work programs and taking corrective actions.
Non routine tasks: writing drilling programs, drilling Well Architecture Proposals, discuss with the services providers, make technical audits, technical studies (water management, 36" casing), redesign well trajectories when needed, writing reports (weekly, monthly, EOW, performances), analyzing technical failures, modifying CMS procedures, solving all kind of logistic problems.

Drilling Project Engineer
I designed drill strings, hydraulics, doglegs and well paths for about 15 wells that drilled in the Black Sea. During this time I was trained as directional drilling engineer. I have learned to work with MMS, MSS, DOT and downhole motors NAVIDRILL and TURBODRILL AKO. Together with another two engineers I wrote a program to get real time data from DOT, bypassing the original computer which was replaced with an ordinary PC (a 40286 processor) and instead of few sparkling led we could see the well path in real time.

Leading drilling process. Setting of the drilling parameters WOB, RPM, flow rate, updating the drill string report, drawing the tools ran to bottom - ID, OD, length, writing drilling report. Also I used to make balanced cementing plugs, coring, fishing bit cones, prepare and lead casing lining and casing cutting. I drilled using Romanian F320 DEWL rigs, wells having 3000 meters MD and about 600 meters displacement.
