Well Design Drilling Engineer (PDVSA / Exploration and Production – Venezuela )
Development of basic drilling engineering for directional wells (horizontal, high angle, short radius and vertical wells) in shallow and deep areas (offshore and onshore): Casing design, bit selection, drilling hydraulic, BHA design, Trajectory well design. Lead engineer in drilling and design of horizontal well projects for SAGD production technology in Venezuela. Projects control for the selection and evaluation of new technology bits. Experience in Multilateral well designs projects. Specialist in trajectory well design. Specialist in the use of following Landmark drilling software's: COMPASS, WELL PLANING, STRESS CHECK., DIMS. Use of Planit software (Sperry Sun drilling software). Experience and knowledge in directional drilling new technology tools (i.e. autotrack, geopilot, powerdrive, MGT, Rotating Magnet). Drilling project planner (technical and economic evaluations, as well as, cost estimating).

- Lagotreco Field(Venezuela): Planning, Design and Drilling of vertical wells of Eocene formations with a depth average of 13500 feet (Offshore).

- Somero Western Field (Venezuela): Planing, Design and Drilling of around 150 shallow horizontal wells (Onshore). Planning and Drilling of 4 horizontal well pairs for SAGD technology (Onshore).

- Tía Juana, Lagunillas and Bachaquero Lago Field (Venezuela): Planing, Design and Drilling of around 50 shallow horizontal (medium and short radius) wells (Off shore). Planning and design of 2 horizontal well pairs for SAGD technology (Offshore).

- Analysis of Casing Seat Depth Points and Casing Design of a Cretaceous Exploration well, in La Palma Field.(Venezuela).
