Test and Commissioning Engineer (Contract) engaged on the Laminaria and Corallina Offshore Oil Development Project in the Timor Sea, Australia.

Responsibilities included:

Supervision of the flooding and hydro-testing contractor during the preparation of procedures to cover riser flooding, leak testing and hydro-testing operations of a number of Coflexip risers, flowlines, manifolds and dual bore tie-in spools.

Supervision of the flooding and testing contractor during performance of the work offshore as described below:

* Riser flooding operations on board of the FPSO "Northern Endeavour" during riser installation operations.
* Flowline and spool leak testing operations from a Supply boat in 400 metres of water utilising a ROV hot stab connected to the subsea manifold.
* Final Hydrotesting operations on board the FPSO "Northern Endeavour" covering all risers, flowlines, manifolds and dual bore tie-in spools.

1997/99 ARCO BRITISH LTD.

Senior Project Engineer (Contract) engaged on the Deben, Bure West and Waveney Development Projects.

Responsibilities include:

Technical responsibility for the pipeline design and installation, testing and commissioning.

Offshore Representative on board the Heavy Lift Vessel "Stanislav Yudin" for the installation of the Waveney and Thames AR Platforms (jackets & topsides) and a bridge link onto the existing Thames AP Platform.

Fabrication of protective structures for subsea wells.

Pipeline Commissioning Engineer for back gassing operations of the Waveney pipeline. Responsibilities included preparation of back gassing procedure, safety reviews and offshore supervision of operation on board DSV

1997 MOMENTUM ENGINEERING

Project Engineer (Staff) engaged on the Kuzey Marmara Offshore Gas Development Project in Turkey.

Responsibilities include:

Engineering support / fabrication supervision during the fabrication, testing and load out and offshore installation of the topsides and subsea tie-in spools.

Preparation of all pipeline procedures, performance of all activities and preparation of reports associated with flooding, gauging, cleaning, hydrotesting, de-watering, MEG swabbing and nitrogen purging operations for the gas and MEG pipelines.

Performance of platform piping leak testing operations and de-commissioning of gas pipeline to allow safe removal of damaged ball and seals on ESD valves

1995/97 ARCO BRITISH LTD.

Pipeline / Sub-Sea Project Engineer (Contract) engaged on the Gawain, Trent and Tyne, Blenheim and Bladon Development Projects.

Responsibilities include:

Technical review, co-ordination and management of pipeline design and installation contractors including their diving sub-contractors. Located offshore on pipe lay vessels and DSV's during critical phases of operations. (Start up / lay down operations, pipeline crossing and wet buckle investigation and retrieval.

On shore Interface management between the Trent and Tyne jacket and topside design / fabrication contractor and the installation contractors. Also responsible for load out and seafastening of jacket & topsides. Client representative on board heavy lift vessel, "Stanislav Yudin", during installation of jackets, topsides and MEG storage tanks.

Conceptual engineering and preparation of work scopes for subsea pipeline tee assemblies for future pipeline tie-ins.

Preparation of work scopes and technical review of gas and MEG pipeline pre-commissioning and commissioning procedures. Arco site representative at Amoco's Bacton Gas Terminal during pipeline hydrotesting, cleaning, de-watering, pre-commissioning, back gassing operations and MEG filling operations.

Technical review and co-ordination of design, manufacture and installation of flexible flowlines, riser bundles, control umbilicals and protective structures for the Blenheim and Bladon field development.

1994/95 BROWN & ROOT

Seconded to Conoco UK Ltd as a Project Engineer (Contract) on the Victor North West Development Project.

Responsibilities include validation of existing riser tee for sub-sea hot-tap tie-in of Victor North west gas export pipeline. Work scope included preparation of offshore inspection and testing programme and offshore supervision of same in order to satisfy the requirements of the HSE. Also responsible for technical review of the hot-tap procedures and co-ordination of Hazops associated with this and the hydrotesting operations.

1993/94 ALLSEAS

Senior Project Engineer (Contract) engaged on the Phillips Judy/Joanne Development Project.

Responsibilities include technical review of all pipelay, trenching and backfilling procedures to ensure compliance with contract requirements. Evaluation and formulation of insulated field joint coating system for high temperature infield production pipelines including supervision of onshore testing and offshore application on pipe-lay vessel "Lorelay". Supervision of onshore fabrication and hydro-testing of inline tie-in spools onboard "Lorelay" prior to mobilisation.

1989/93 ARCO BRITISH LTD

Pipeline Project Engineer (Contract) engaged on the Welland, Pickerill and Orwell Gas Development Projects together with detail design studies for the Blenheim Oil Development Project.

Responsibilities include supervision of pipeline, riser, subsea manifold, and umbilical design contractors and management of technical interfaces for all material suppliers (including linepipe, umbilicals and subsea valves etc.), landfall contractor at Conoco's gas terminal at Mablethorpe, pipeline hydraulics, Works Authorisation Application, pipeline, riser and umbilical installation contracts and pipeline pre-commissioning. The Orwell electro-hydraulic control umbilical is of particular note having a length of approx. 32Km, a world record at it's time of installation.

1988/89 SHELL EXPLORATION AND PRODUCTION

Pipeline Engineer (Contract) engaged on the Sole Pit Gas Pipeline Project. Initially responsible for all pipeline associated materials including preparation of MTO's, specifications and bid documents etc. Responsible for bid evaluations, clarification and pre-award meetings. Also responsible for liaison with material suppliers during manufacture to resolve technical queries.

Transferred to Construction and was responsible for landfall section of trunk-line into the Bacton gas Terminal. Responsibilities included review of installation contractors procedures, liaison with site engineers, review of concessions requests etc.

1987 BROWN & ROOT/SAIPEM

Project Engineer (Contract) engaged on Conoco's LOGGS Project. Duties included liaison between rockdump subcontractor and client during preparation of procedures. Transferred offshore as Saipem's representative onboard DSV "Smit Semi 1" during hyperbaric welding tie-in operations, liaison between diving subcontractor and client.

1987 ALLSEAS MARINE CONTRACTORS S.A.

Project Engineer (Contract) seconded to Allseas Engineering bv in The Hague engaged on the Placid K12 to L10 Gas Pipeline and Riser Installation.

Responsibilities included preparation of construction manual, engineer onboard dynamic position pipelay vessel "Lorelay" during installation of 18" gas line and risers and then onboard DSV to supervise pigging and hydrotesting operations.

1984/86 SHELL EXPLORATION AND PRODUCTION

Pipeline Engineer (Contract) engaged on the Tern and Eider Pipelines project comprising oil, gas and water injection pipelines, retro-fit riser and supports and a J-tube pull.

Duties included preparation of scope of work and technical specifications for conceptual and detailed pipeline designs together with overseeing the design contractor during the engineering phase including preparation of design reports and drawings.
Other responsibilities included review of specifications, riser J-tube drawings and riser lifting and installation analysis. Preparation of linepipe MTO's dimensional requirements for pig traps for intelligent pigs, riser fabrication specifications, hydrotest pressure schedule and design data books.

1979/84 CONOCO UK LTD

Pipeline Engineer (staff) engaged on the Victor to Viking Pipeline Project comprising 16" gas line, 3" piggybacked methanol line and associated risers.

Responsible for overseeing all stages of project from conceptual design/feasibility studies through to commissioning. Duties included preparation of design basis for pipelines and risers, liaison with various government bodies to obtain Works Authorisation, technical review of pipeline design and project services contractor, review of details design, specifications, drawings contracts, bid enquiries and installation procedures. Subsequently based offshore as Company representative during pipelaying, trenching and riser installation operations.

Company representative onboard lay barge during installation of North Leg Gas Pipeline over pipeline crossing of Murchinson oil line.

Staff Pipeline Specialist working in central engineering department providing cost estimates, schedules and cash flow forecasts for pipelines, risers and subsea tie-ins for various economic evaluations of possible North Sea field developments. Also produced various feasibility studies for pipeline and riser installations including retro-fitting of risers to existing platforms and subsea tie-ins. Also conducted technical review of technical specifications, drawings and procedures prepared by partner in North Leg Gas Pipeline system, co-ordinating internal review of pipeline block crossing applications made by other oil companies.

Represented Conoco on United Kingdom Offshore Operators Associations (UKOOA) Pipeline Sub-Committee and at meetings of the Offshore Equipment Utilisation Group.

1974/79 SANTA FE (UK) LTD

Construction Engineer (staff) engaged on various construction, pipelay and trench barges on a number of offshore projects in the North Sea as described below.

Barge Engineer supporting foundation drilling group installing under-reamed and pin pile foundations on various jackets associated with the Ekofisk Field Development.

Barge Engineer/Stinger Operator onboard laybarge "Choctaw 2" during the installation of Cod to Ekofisk Pipeline.

Project Engineer onboard laybarge during installation of Thistle to Dunlin pipeline.

Installation Engineer supervising the erection of 750 ton crane onboard "Choctaw 2". Also supervising repairs, modifications and dry-docking of pipelay/derrick barges and stingers in various shipyards throughout Europe. Other duties included preparation of barge anchor patterns including use of crossing mooring techniques, supervising load-out of drilling equipment for trans Atlantic tow and preparation of cost estimates for various pipelay bids.

1968/73 JOYCE LOEBL COMPANY LTD
