About Btc Pipeline Project:
BTC (Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan) pipeline, one of the major pipeline in the world, crossing over three countries; Azerbaijan, Georgia, Turkey, designed and constructed to carry Azeri crude oil to the international markets at Turkish Marine Terminal/Ceyhan, invested and directed by world oil produces company MEP (Main Oil Pipeline) Representatives and operated by Turkish Pipeline Company (BIL).
Responsibilities:
* Being responsible for the commissioning and start up of the pumping stations with the crude oil
* Preapare the commissioning and start up procedures for the application
* Define and describe the oil flow path through the stations on the P&ID drawings
* Contribution to the activities to the station start up operation with the crude oil
* Describe the functions of the valves and the instruments in the flow path
* Define the required isolation of the live system from the none related systems
* Outlined the risk assessment and mitigation measures during operation

Company: Salyan Oil Ltd. (SOL), Azerbijan /Baku.
About the scope of work and company:
SOL is established at 1997, by two western companies, Frontera Resources and Hess Group, Huston and London based respectively, with 50% SOCAR sharing, as the PSA agreement, to develop and operate the oil field at Kursengi, Karabagli in Salyan region with more than 800 wells, in production 400 wells of total, the others idle waiting for workover operation.
Proces facilities included the well head, production lines, manifold, separators, pumps, tanks, pipeline and saling terminal.
Responsibilities and activities in detail for this company:
* Performed the facilities engineering, field equipment construction jobs
* Operated the process facilities; separating, dehydration, tank farm systems in Kursengi, Karabagli
* Managed the oil field operation team,
* Conducted the repair jobs on the pipeline ( 40 km) between Kursengi and Kirovdag
* Conducted and supervised, engineering, tendering, erection of new oil storage tanks in Kursengi, Karabagli and Kirovdag with a 30,000 m3 capacities
* Projected and specified the Custody Oil Transfer Measurement System at Kirovdag and Ali Bayramli with detailed P&ID and PFD drawings.
* Engineered, specified, documented the tenders for the pipelines,

Start up and Commissioning Engineer 1997 – 1999
Company: Kazak-Turk Munay – Kazakhstan.
Site: Yelemes Oil Field/ Actau Region
Oil production plant has been designed and constructed at the Yelemes field with the standard facilities including flow lines from well head to the station manifold, oil/gas separators, heat exchangers, water knock out drums, oil storage tanks and pumping units with the electro-pneumatic control and measuring systems to handle 12 000 bbl/d oil ptoduction.
Responsibilities as the project team member:
* Supervised the project and the construction activities at the field, Yelemes/Aktau
* Conducted contractor, contributed to the official meeting, discussed ongoing project,
* Supervised construction and revised work items by change orders as needed,
* Supervised the installation of the oil/gas separators, Yelemes/Aktau
* Walk down and punch list
* Commissioning the oil storage tanks, heaters, pumps instruments of all the plant
* Completed the plant with start up and commissioning
Start up / Commissioning and Process Lead Engineer Sep. 1996-Dec. 1996

Site: Marmara Sea, Offshore Production Platform and onshore site.
Involved at all steps of the project from beginning to the commissioning and start-up phase for the natural gas production plant with a capacity of 30 MMSCFD at Marmara Sea in North side of Turkey. Resposible for the supervision of the construction at site, commissioning and the start up the system as the start up and commissioning engineer.
For a whole production plant, each item of the project such as, oil transport pipeline, wellhead design, oil storage tanks, heaters, pumps, separators, flare line, incinerator, piping and instrumentation were the main items to select, purchase, review, discuss…Experienced for these activities. The location was in West Quarun, far 150 km from Cairo. My job here ended with completion of the project in the year
