PLANNING ENGINEER in ZADCO (Offshore Zakum Oil field), Abu Dhabi; UAE from September 1995 to September 2003. Responsible for management, control and upkeep of database in MAXIMO as Maximo Coordinator (Super User) at site. Participated in customization and implementation of MAXIMO. Auditing of static and dynamic data and update/amendment of data (Equipment Hierarchy, Equipment Specifications, PM Plans, Failure Classes, Value Lists etc) and implemented various modifications in all almost modules to suit company business practices, procedures and end-user requirements and user-friendliness in coordination with Maximo vendor engineers. Also carried out 'Job Plans' creation/loading and 'Spare-parts attachment to Equipment'.

1 MAINTENANCE PLANNING ENGINEER in Mina Ahmadi Refinery of KNPC (Kuwait National Petroleum Company), Kuwait from June 1993 to June 1995.
Responsible for Planning and Scheduling of Day-To-Day Maintenance activities of LPG Plant, Hydrogen Production Unit, ARD Units (Atmospheric Residue Desulphurization), Utilities (Boiler and DM Water Plants) and Product Storage & Loading facilities in CMMS environment with responsibility to arrange material and manpower involving material requisitioning, review of stock items and hiring/mobilization of manpower and services in liaison with Purchasing departments. Annual Budget estimation and estimation of costs for various maintenance projects. Reporting to Maintenance Superintendent.
2 CHIEF ENGINEER in Chlorine/Caustic Unit (Arabian Chlorine Company of Titanium Dioxide Plant (CRISTAL), Yanbu ; Saudi Arabia from November 1990 to June 1993.
Responsible for Maintenance of 44 TPD Chlorine/Caustic Plant of ICI. Supervision and control of workforce of multi-discipline engineers (Mechanical/Instrument/ Electrical), foremen, technicians and trades labor of 40 persons.
Preparation of Annual Shutdown Plan, Cost Estimation/Budget and execution using Primavera.
As Chief Engineer, responsible for cost estimation and annual budgets, capital and operating expenditures control, planning and execution of modification jobs and repair and maintenance of the plant facilities and equipment in general and specific maintenance of equipment such as Liquid Ring Chlorine Compressors, Acid Pumps and Piping system, Caustic Concentration and Flaking Unit, HCL plant, Heat Exchangers and Regeneration Columns, Towers etc. Reporting to Plant Manager.
3 SENIOR PRIJECT ENGINEER in Nagothane Petrochemicals Complex of IPCL(Indian Petrochemicals Corporation Ltd), India for Polyethylene (80,000 MTPA) Project from August 1986 to August 1990.
Responsible for the review of Design/Drawings, Detailed Engineering, Procurement, and Contracts alongwith the team of Engineers from the EPC consultant; Engineers India Ltd.
Design coordination with the consultant. Review of Detailed Engineering and Drawings of Equipment and Piping of the plant. Pre-dispatch inspection of major equipment at vendors' work. Supervision of construction, erection and installation of the project. Preparation, review and update of construction schedule and controlling of Contractors activities and progress. Detailed technical inspection of the plant prior to commissioning. Pre-commissioning /commissioning and start-up of the plant with a team of Process Engineers and multi-discipline Contractor workforce. Reporting to Project Manager.
4 MECHANICAL ENGINEER (Maintenance) in Polyethylene Plant (2 x 40,000 MTPA) of Vadodara Petrochemicals Complex of IPCL(Indian Petrochemicals Corporation Ltd), India from Sept 1980 to Aug 1986. Later promoted to Senior Mechanical Engineer.
Responsible for maintenance and repair/overhaul of plant equipment and piping e.g.; Ethylene Compressors, HP Piping and Valves, Reactor, Vessels, Exchangers, Extruders, Conveying, Bagging/Pelletizing units etc. Planning and execution of Turnaround/ Shutdown and Modification work. Preparation, update and execution of Preventive and Predictive maintenance schedule of the plant equipment and facilities and utilities plant. Reporting to Maintenance Superintendent.
5 PROJECT ENGINEER in Petron Engineering & Construction Co, Bombay from Jan 1979 to Sept 1980. First 6 months hands-on training on detailed Engineering/Drawings, Procurement and Supervision of Construction of a Petrochemical Plant near Bombay.
Later confirmed as Project Engineer supervising/controlling construction team consisting of 2 Foreman, and crew of 30 Welders/Fabricators/Riggers/Crane Operators/Mechanics/Fitters /Instrument & Electrical technicians and helpers.
