EMPLOYMENT HISTORY
NOV2006 Till date: Working as a Lead Engineer Piping with M/s Al-Jaber Energy services a leading group in Oil & gas projects in consortium with Washington group International(USA) for Common Sulfur Project at Ras Laffan (one of the largest LNG export facilities in the world & integral part of Qatar Gas).

AUG 2004 to OCT2006: Working as a Project Manager Piping with M/s Control Contracting & Trading Co. (Pvt.) W.W.L., Abu-Dhabi, UAE, an EPIC Contractor and ISO-9001 certified organization, extensively involved with Offshore / Onshore oil & gas development projects(Piping) mostly with Zadco,Takreer & Adma.

Job Responsibilities:
Key role for technical evaluation of entire Piping materials in compliance with the Project specifications & international standards. responsible for coordinating all the details to the technical team from execution till ultimate commissioning for following systems: Sulphur Jacket Piping/Fire water/Low pressure steam/Chemical/Desalination water/washdown water/Potable water etc.

Main experience includes heading execution both at onshore & offshore,coordination on engineering matters, Liaising with Client for Replacement of Caustic Piping,Gas Lift Operability Project from tendering stage till commissioning including several shutdown jobs during this period.
Approval of various execution schemes fabrication sequence and Method statements.
Headed the Refinery project: Executed the project successfully in line with client requirement ahead to the planned schedule; project was to dismantle existing caustic lines & replacing the same with new Line: Piping from fabrication stage, post weld heat treatment, installation, hydrotesting & Flushing (Precommissioning activities.)

Piping Project execution at offshore & coordinating on engineering matters (for Piping cum Instrumentation project) with Zadco for Gas lift operability Project
Co-relating & clearing mismatch between Piping & Instrumentation drawings, isometrics(P&ID), General Arrangement(GA), Vessel-bridle, Tie ins & hook up drawing, preparation of Material reconciliation report.
Experience includes project execution in high risk Zone (Piping installation in running plant taking up associated Instrumentation work in parallel.
Tie ins with the existing system Hot tapping, Hydro testing, Leak testing, Flushing & Precommissioning for different systems.
Responsibilities include development of details shop drawings in line with clients provided specifications. Also liaise with other discipline – HVAC, Electrical & Instrumentation – and involve as Services Coordinator to locate and resolve service clashes and to interface between them and client provided documents. Furthermore, to deal with sub-contractors, vendors to define scope of work and evaluate their quotations for sub contract work, preparation of bid tabulations, variation orders and alike.

JULY2003 – JULY 2004:Employed with Gulf Petrochemical Services, one of the leading Group in the field of Piping/Pipeline, mainly executing Piping/Pipeline projects & several other projects of engineering proficiency for Petroleum Development of Oman throughout the country.
Rendered my services in south Oman as Site In charge for Deep-water disposal project & headed Planning for GRE project as well.

Job Responsibilities: Responsible to supervise a team of three Engineers and two draught persons & forty five artisans to meet projects' deadline, meeting with clients, producing detailed working drawings, identify and finalize finishing material, develop material specifications in line with clients and projects need, co-ordinate and liaison with Client and co-ordinate with Site Construction Team.
Execution of Pipeline/Piping & coordination with several Mechanical, Electrical & Civil activities from scratch till commissioning in a 32'' Pipeline project & 24" pipeline for DWD project. Also executed station piping.
Erection of Booster Pumps.alignment of these pumps to the precise limit of +.01mm.
Erection of API 5LX42 grade 24"–8.74mm thk" pipeline around 5.5 Km from Rima Station to DWD Phase II location.
Erection of Station Piping which includes Suction & discharge header of Pump(SDSS(UNS 32750 piping 24'',18",16",recycle line & bypass line 4" &6")
Erection of Flow lines for three disposal wells with a heavy thickness of 15.11mm.
Hydrotesting of these lines with a max pressure of 375 bar.
Pump alignment with a accuracy of 0.2mm (face to face angular movement) with final Laser alignment being tested by SULZER
Planning activities for a GRE Project with activities scheduled & resource allocation with the help of Gnatt chart & S-curves.

MAY 1997 – JUNE2003: As Asst. Manager, for M/s. Reliance Industries Ltd.Jamnagar. India. Employed with world largest grass root refinery, Reliance Industries Ltd. Jamnagar, under the supervision of Bechtel & UOP Engineers who reflect supremacy in Refinery & Petrochemical field. Reliance Industries Ltd. Asst. manager for Aromatics Plant (Xylene).
Review of Isometrics, GA's & P&ID's, Specification and codes.
