* Re-evaluated discovery. Advocated downward adjustment of oil (56%) and gas (63%) reserves. Eliminated drilling. Saved ~$7M.

Development Geologist, Nigeria/Mid-Africa SBU 1999 - 2001
* Built full-field earth models of 2 producing reservoirs. Collaborated closely with engineer on fluid flow simulations. In one, estimated original oil-in-place increased by 27-32% over booked values. Optimally located in-fill wells for enhancing oil recovery.
* Determined gross rock volumes for 20 gas- (99B ft3) and 5 oil-bearing sands (20B ft3) in 3 onshore fields based on detailed mapping of 3D seismic data. 2 on team. Contributed to replacing reserves and estimating feedstock for gas-to-liquids conversion.
* Matured inter-field leads technically. Increased near-term value by adding to inventory for drilling from existing infrastructures.
