Maintain a storage facility from 70 tanks and 2 jetties, (one for 45000 ton ships and one for 70000 ton ships) with a wide variety of products, such as
Styrene Monomer and Ethylene.
Maintaining and updating our I.S.O 9002 Quality System.

Supervisor and co-ordinator for all the disciplines such as mechanical, electrical, instrumentation and civil.

Normally when you start as an Assistant Engineer you are not allowed to work alone because you do not have any experience, but when I
started I was lucky to start on the oldest Bitumen Tanker (+/- 26 years old)
in Holland with only a Chief Engineer and an Assistant, so I could start right away in the 6 hours on / 6 hours off system.
This was a very good experience, it learns you how to improvise and use your time in the most practical way.
