Present Status
Collaborating in an "Integrated Coastal and Marine Area Management (ICMAM)", a DOD-8 project with Dr. N.P. Kurian, Centre for Earth Science Studies, Kerala, India.

ACCOMPLISHMENTS AND EXPERIENCE
Professional Background
Engaged as a Junior Research Fellow (from March 2006 to Till date) at the Centre for Earth Science Studies (CESS), Trivandrum in the project entitled Integrated Coastal and Marine Area Management (ICMAM) (DOD-8).
Objectives:- The study envisages identification of the sediment cells and sub-cells by assessing the coastal processes and coastal geomorphology. Thus, improving our understanding of the coastal processes operating within each sediment cell and sub-cells. Further, it hopes to develop impact models, identifying the areas vulnerable for erosion along the coast and to assess the management options for shore protection. Finally it will provide a Shoreline Management Plans (SMP) for selected sites.

Engaged as a Project fellow (from June 2005 to March 2006) at the Centre for Earth Science Studies (CESS), Trivandrum in the project entitled "Impact of Tsunami on the Kerala Coast and an Initiative for Development of a Management Plan for the Region" sponsored by Department of Science and Technology (DST-65), Government of India.

PROFESSIONAL TRAINING
20 days professional training at Atomic Minerals Division in Karnataka, India

Objectives: Theodolite Survey, Structural Mapping, Geological Mapping and Different methods of Geophysical exploration methods for Uranium Prospecting.
