GENERAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITY
Directly responsibility to the site Manager on Project Preparation, Planning and work scheduling. Maintaining of Engineering, Quality Control, Document, Codes, Plant and specification at the site complying with ISO 9001.

A. ENGINEERING

1] Coordinating engineering matters with the OWNER's representatives in charge, third party and Sub contractor and Vendor

2] Interpreting design, drawings and specifications including field changes and provides technical advice to the construction groups, the site office engineering group and the Subcontractor / Vendor

3] Preparing disposition plan for discovered NCR, and specification after the OWNER's approval, cooperating with QA/QC Manager

4] Ensuring development of complete site office engineering records and asbuilt drawing with assistance of the home office engineering group.

5] Authorizing materials take-off for additional work and / or changes in the work at the site.

6] Planning and directing field engineering document control, such as receiving, printing, distribution, and filing.

7] Establishing field engineering coordination procedure and quality control procedure covering the above responsibility and activities.

8] Ensuring that the subcontracting documents are in compliance with the technical requirements for th project in the aspects of quality and quantity.

9] Reveiving field NCR and keeping Site Manager being informed at al times as to the seriousness and proposed resolution of all NCR, deviation requests and their impact on the schedule.

10] Approving, assigning identification, and ensuring that these requirements are in compliance with the quality system and project requirements.

11] Coordinating hand over procedure effors among all parties concerned, including compliation of documents required for facilities turnover to OWNER

B. QUALITY CONTROL

1] Verifiying bymonitoring / auditing / surveillance that the site activitiesrelating quality are being implementation accordance with Quality Plan.

2] Reviewing the quality related procedures supporting the Quality Plan in order to ensure suitability for the site work, and preparing procedures where appropriate.

3] Initianing, recommending, or providing solutions to the quality problems raised at site.

4] Coordinating the site internal organization as well as OWNER QA personnel for resolving quality problems and advices Site Manager for necessary actions.

5] Following up and verifying implementation of solutions to the quality problems.

6] Ensuring control of further processing, delivery, or installation of nonconforming equipment and materials deficiencies, or unsatisfactory condition until proper disposition.

7] Educating Vendors / Subcontractors to follow the project quality requirements at site

8] Participating in the various meetings at the site with Vendors / Subcontractors and confirm Vendor / Subcon to follow the project quality requirements.

9] Participating in meetings at the site with OWNER to discuss the quality of the project and any problems that have proposed resolution.

10] Maintaining close communication with Site Manager with regard to the site quality matters.

11] All site QC related activities in coordination with the field engineering and construction group.

12] Coordinating quality related matter with OWNER's representatives, third party, Vendors and Subcontractor.

13] Interpreting drawing and specification related to the quality control and clarifies with field engineering group as required.

14] Monitoring the Subcontractor's implementation of inspection and testing, coordinates therefore with OWNER.

C. MATERIAL CONTROL

1] Planning and preparing project field procurement procedures.

2] Representing field procurement in contact with OWNER.

3] Representing procurement in contact with project personnel involving planning and problem resolution at the site.

4] Coordinating and participating in field procurement activities, such as preparation of bidders list, review of requisitions, and approval of bid summaries / commitment

5] Troubleshooting and resoling puschasing and expediting problems at site

6] Obtaining import and re-exporting authorizations or licenses from government offices such as ministry of finance,customshouse, and port authority.

7] Receiving and verifying the shipping documents and prepares import or temporary import declarations.

8] Preparing detailed schedules for off-loading and inland transportation based on documents showing actual shipping status.

9] Supervising the custums clearance supervisor in inspection cargo on ship and conforming with shipofficers on landing method and sequence, supervises discharging work.

10] Conforming transportation route and method for heavy and long cargoes.

11] Receiving inspection of all the materials and equipment with assistance of field discipline engineer

D. DOCUMENT CONTROL

2] Revised document shall be identified by revision number and date with identification marking on the revised parts.

* Distribution Log shall be prepared and maintained to control the document distribution.

Shall be assure that superseded documents are withdrawn from use and in case of the old documents to b retained, they shall be marked 'VOID' on receipt of new revision.

4] Field sketches and As built drawing. All as built documents shall be marked " AS-BUILT" in a conspicuous manner and shall be stored separately from active documents
