I am working as Sr. Process Eng for projects; ORYX GTL Project with GTL Technical Team to support Project management team. The project involves the construction of the world's largest &
most advanced GTL plant. The facility will yield 34000 barrels of GTL fuels/day but there are plans of expansion to 120000(bpd).Oryx GTL will use about 330-million Ft3/D of lean natural gas which is having very less Sulphurcontent & thus makes environment friendly fuels i.e. petrol / Diesel, LPG
and Naphtha too.
▪ I am active member and take part in precommissioning/commissioning, supervising, Co-coordinating with Technip & Sub contractors, project management & executing jobs of projects.
▪ Pre punches / punching, back punching, reviewing and discussing issues in field as well as in meetings.
▪ Inspection of vessels/equipments, driving systems initially to RFC to RFO levels followed by RFSU.
▪ Do calculations for equipments using Aspen for their performance & efficiencies, Basic Eng based on data sheets available for Mass & Energy balance & use Aspen process explorer and LIMS for data.
▪ Member of HAZOP study & chair weekly meetings for new revisions and modifications in HAZOP'S.
▪ Check Triconix and Foxboro SYS and histories to know the initiator for trouble shooting and tracing the root causes of trips and logic and interlocks failures and problems.
