Presently working as an Inspection Engineer for their contracts in P.I.C. running plants of UREA 3150MTD AND NH3 (AMMONIA) 1880MTD PLANTS at Shuaiba, Kuwait.

Responsibilities

Inspection and Evaluation of H.P. Vessels, Boilers, Heaters, Heat-Exchanger, Reactors, Strippers, Storage Tanks, Piping and Pipelines condition with respect to remaining life time.
On the basis of Inspection and Evaluation for the above items, preparation of Inspection Work Request to rectify the faults containing the description of the fault, repair procedure by welding and NDT methods.
Periodical thickness survey on Equipment, pipelines and general NDT inspection like RT, UT, MT, PT and hardness testing on equipment.
The duties includes prior to and during Annual Shutdown are list out the critical equipment in consultation with process, Inventory control in co-ordination with Planning Department, Thickness Survey on critical lines like H.T. & L.T. Pipelines and Cathode protection system monitoring for buried lines.
Arrangement and coordinating with third part inspection agency for insurance renewal of boilers, heaters and lifting appliances. This includes inspection, rectification of faults and Hydraulic test and safety valve float test along with third part inspection agency.
Inspection on bought out Equipment, on materials and on bulk materials.
Participated as a member in various teams constituted by management like Process Hazard Analysis. This team will study the concern segment from all the points of view process, engineering, inspection and maintenance to make the area of concern with safe running and reliable without affecting al l the process activity and efficiency. Further more the team will submit to the management report about team studying with highlighting to any recommendations required to the concern section for implementing.
Participated as a member in Root Cause Analysis Team. Management constitutes a team of members from different backgrounds to study and find the root cause of sporadic accidents and recommend practical steps to avoid such incidents in future.
