Reservoir Engineer
Responsibilities include:
Reserve Assessment and Production Profile Forecast:
* Estimation of STOIIP volumetrically & material balance calculation, Calculating proved developed remaining reserves utilizing decline curve analysis.
* Preparing Short and long term production forecast and budget economics sheets.
* Preparing annual reserve reports, reservoir management review reports and annual routine reports.

Water Injection:
* Optimization of water injection volumes according to reservoir response (pressure and production data) (voidage replacement ratios calculations and material balance)
* Monitoring the effect of the injectors to the total field & regions productions and pressure performance and decide the remedial actions, if any.
Well Test Analysis:
* Preparing programs and Performing complete well test analysis for PBU, SFPT, SPT, falloff, step rate tests and decide the remedial action if required.
* Preparing/optimizing plan schedule programs for reservoir monitoring surveys.
Reservoir Modeling (ECLIPSE100 & RMS):
* Using ECLIPSE 100 black oil Simulator software (office, floviz & schedule module).
* Identify the necessary well-specific data gathering needs (e.g... perorations & isolation intervals, deviation surveys, actual related time events…) required to create dynamic simulation models.
* Complete management of creating projects on schedule module and data importing & exporting from/to ECLIPSE.
* Familiar with ECLIPSE 100 common keywords in addition to specifying required ones by manual searching.
* Preparing and checking required data for model initialization like PVT tables, capillary pressure, saturation function tables and equilibrium data.
* Performing history matching runs and estimating of errors included in.
* Locating infill production and injection wells to the model and perform prediction runs and evaluate same.
* Q.C on the newly created static models for determination validity or shortfall.
* Using ROXAR- RMS software for data preparation to ECLIPSE wells correlation, up scaling cross-sections and mapping.
Open and Cased Hole Logs:
* Using ELAN's for defining perforation intervals and its associated other reservoir parameters.
* Quick look and quantitative open hole log analysis.
* Complete PLT logs evaluation, interpretation and deciding related actions (isolation and/or re-perforation or stimulation).
* Evaluation of reservoir saturation according to MDT, TDT and CHFR logs and designing programs for same.
* Familiar with other common cased- hole logs GR, CCL, CBL, VDL…etc.
Field and Well Performance Review:
* Preparing routine field and wells review deciding required surveys and its related operations
* Preparing Rig schedules, wells drilling and workover proposals and projects economics sheets.
* Preparing Production allocation-verification factors and reconciled production figures.
* Attending meetings and dissuasion rooms.
Operation Responsibilities include:
Gas lift
* Gas lift wells troubles shooting and remedial actions.
* Gas lift wells completion running, testing and well unloading & optimization.
Cased hole logs
* PLT & PSP, MDT, RST, CHFR supervising jobs.
* USIT, CBL, VDL & Corrosion logs jobs supervision and evaluation.
* Using correlation logs GR & CCL as a main depth guide.

Down hole pressure surveys (PBU, SFPT and SPT)
* Job planning, considerations and supervision.
* Carrying out related calculation (e.g., nodal analysis and spread sheets).
Perforations
* Carrying out all perforation jobs, either rig or rig less.
* Familiar with the common types of guns (TCP, HSD, Enerjet …)
* Jobs arrangement and safety considerations.

Scale removal & inhibition
* Designing and supervising scale removal jobs (chemical and mechanical)
* Designing and supervising scaled formation treatment programs & inhibition jobs and after-jobs evaluations.
Well completion and workover witness engineer
* Completion tally running and testing.
* Stucked Tubing cutting and fishing.
* Setting bridge plugs, CMT plugs and packers.

APPENDICES
TECHNICAL TASKS

* Shared in in-house study for scale tendency in RAS- BUDRAN field and monitoring the effect of water injection optimization to scale build-up tendency and the remedial actions.

* Prepared complete project on OFM software for Ras- BUDRAN field (more than 100 completion) including all available data (production, injection, PLT, pressure, produced water salinity, PVT, core data, open hole logs,...) which is greatly helped in good, easy and right reservoir management decisions.

* Currently Sharing with team work in studying Ras- Budran full phase ESP. this is concerning converting 15 wells from gas lift to ESP after encountered lifting problems due development of water cut and shortage of gas.

* Shared in evaluation of un-completed shallower reservoir formation (Ras- Budran shallower horizon about100 MM STIOOP) and trying to test it via the current infrastructure for minimizing the cost and reducing the risk.

* Competed project for RAS- BUDRAN field on ECLIPSE 100 schedule module in 2003 after spending more than 3 months of data gathering and revision. It was used in the simulation model at that time improving the history matching and reducing the uncertainty degree.

* Currently, sharing in integrated reservoir study for Ras- Fanar field which is being carried out by ROXAR London.

* Performed complete evaluation for Ras- Budran third version simulation model (Ras Budran un-faulted model) and discussing findings with third party summarizing un-acceptance of the model.

COMPUTER SKILLS

* Experienced in Windows based PC software such as MS-WORD, MS-Excel, MS- Power Point in addition to technical software OFM, MBAL, SAPHIRE, RMS, ECLIPSE 100, PIPESIM, SUBPUMP in addition to most common windows applications.
