Computing and High Tech Engineering Recruitment
To Whom It May Concern:
This will serve to confirm Mr. -of Toronto, Ontario, was engaged by our client
Leighton Limited (Thailand) on a fixed term contract based in Thailand between February 1998 and January 2000. John was recruited by myself; whilst Contracting Manager for a Sydney based recruitment firm specializing in engineering contracts throughout Australasia.
Leighton's recruited John ahead of many Australian based applicants due primarily to his extensive project background, international experience and strong communication skills.
John applied for and was appointed Senior Mechanical & Electrical Engineer for a large Polypropylene Compounding and Extrusion Plant based in Rayong Thailand. The position was recruited from Australia, with the contract location in Thailand whilst John was a resident of Canada. The recruitment process was handled remotely through the Sydney Head Office of Leighton Contracting Limited and despite the geographic constraints John was able to commence within a tight time frame which was much appreciated by the Client company.
John's contract was extended several times over a two-year period, which should be indicative of his resourcefulness and technical ability. Our Client advised during the first six months of John's contract term that they were happy with John's performance and that they were pleased with their choice of candidate.
The writer has since left the recruitment industry however would without hesitation highly recommend -for any Engineering Project Management role requiring a resourceful, intelligent Engineer whose strengths include interpersonal and communication skills, a "can do" attitude and the practical patience to work under demanding circumstances.
