I have 22 years of experience in computer automation system design, layout and design of process equipment and piping systems producing final orthographic or isometric drawings for refinery, chemical, pharmaceutical, and biotechnology facilities utilizing AutoCAD, Intergraph PDS and other computer-aided design programs. Lead rolls include managing small projects from initiation to completion liaison with the client during kick off meetings, fieldwork and reviews. Lead work included assisting and directing other piping designers on the team.

Relevant project experience includes:

* Jacobs Engineering. Genzyme rPM, Belgium, Europe – Pharmaceutical Project. Lead Piping Designer responsible for the valve rings. Other responsibilities included work on the reactor piping. I was also involved in the design of the plumbing throughout the building.

* Jacobs Engineering. Rohm & Haas Chemicals, Kankakee, IL – Phoenix Project. Lead Piping Designer on a retrofit of an existing chemical plant. Responsibilities included lead fieldwork, that included coordinating tie-ins and design and layout work. Extensive fieldwork and coordination was done with the client on this pilot job including specific tagging and marking of demo equipment and piping as well as many reviews and meetings with the client.

* Jacobs Engineering. Dow Chemical, Dalton, GA – DEPOT II Project. Area Lead Piping Designer on an expansion of the existing latex plant. Responsibilities included layout and design of the load station building and routing of process lines and tie-ins. Field work and coordination was done with the client on this expansion including specific tagging of tie-in's as well as reviews and meetings with the client.

* Jacobs Engineering. Dow Chemical, Dalton, GA – DEPOT Project. Lead Piping Designer on a retrofit of an existing latex plant. * Jacobs Engineering. Dow Chemical, Midland, MI – Offloading Station Project. Lead Piping Designer responsible for field audit and piping upgrade of a railcar off-loading station. Management of job scope and writing up job specification documentation including initial and final review of the project with the client.

* Jacobs Engineering. Dow Chemical, China – MET and EPIC Project. Lead Piping Designer responsible for 3D piping modeling of batch and continuous stripper and related equipment and piping as well as the product blend off-loading. Responsibilities include coordination of P&ID's and design reviews with the client.

* Jacobs Engineering. Dow Chemical, Dalton, GA – PLUS Project. Lead Piping Designer responsible for 3D piping modeling of unload building, pipe rack and related equipment and piping. Responsibilities include coordination of P&ID's and design reviews with the client.

* Process Systems, Inc., Memphis, TN – Desugarization Plant. Senior Piping Designer on a beet molasses desugarization plant project responsible for layout and design of thin juice softening areas and routing of process lines. Responsibilities include coordination of P&ID's and design reviews with the client.

* Colt Engineering. ICI, Carseland, Alberta, Canada – Nitric Acid Plant. Senior Piping Designer on a 300 MTPD nitric acid plant project responsible for layout and detail design of absorber area, routing of critical process lines and tower and condenser piping.

* Colt Engineering. Sunoco, Sarnia, Ontario, Canada – Refinery Project. Senior Piping Designer on a refinery project assisting in the preparation of an estimate for vacuum unit revamp by detailed evaluation of process piping. Responsibilities included extensive fieldwork tagging tie points.

* Colt Engineering. Calgary Airport, Calgary, Canada – Refueling System Project. Senior Piping D esigner responsible for layout and detail design of the pump and filter area.

* Colt Engineering. Petro-Canada, Keele Street, Toronto – Terminal Project. Senior Piping Designer responsible for as-built evaluation of existing as-built distribution terminal and preparation of P&IDs. This included extensive fieldwork walking lines and coordination with the client.

* Colt Engineering. Petro-Canada, Oakville, Toronto – RFG Plant. Senior Piping Designer responsible for 3D piping modeling of the Prefractionater area. This included the routing of critical process lines on the tower, reboiler and condenser piping as well as fieldwork and coordination with the client.

* Hatch Associates. Algoma Steel, Sault St. Marie, Ontario, Canada – Hot Strip Mill Plant. Senior Piping Designer responsible for layout and detail design of process and utility piping.
