PRINCIPAL ACHIEVEMENTS:
Reached the position of Country Manager with one of the world's largest oil well services groups (Schlumberger.

Instigated the launch & penetration of newly engineered products & services to major oil companies.

Designed modifications to improve equipment performance and had them adopted by employers for standardization.

In Colombia as Base Supervisor headed the only one of three competing well cementing companies providing services (to BP) to pass a complete year with no major operational failure. During the same period increased business by 50%.

As Station Manager in Mossoro, Brazil built & opened base to take 100% of the market from the competition; holding it until departure a year later.

As Station Manager in Talara, Peru rebuilt and reopened base destroyed by floods, built revenue from zero to US$ 500K / month after one year.

As Country Manager in Ecuador built & opened base, and took market share to raise revenue 300% over 1½ years, at same time reduced accounts outstanding by 50%.

In Syria, was credited by client (Shell) for "significant" improvements in results of primary & remedial cement jobs, by making aggressive changes to previously standard job designs.

1997 to 2000 CPVEN (Venezuelan pumping company) as Technical Advisor, later District Manager for Eastern Venezuela.

1994 to 1997 NOWSCO Well Services, (later taken over by BJ Services) Syria as Country Technical Engineer.

1992 to 1994 BJ SERVICES (formerly BJ HUGHES). Colombia as Base Supervisor & India as Stimulation Vessel Supervisor.

1988-1992 DOWELL SCHLUMBERGER. Bangladesh, Australia, Saudi Arabia, Malaysia, Thailand, Yemen, UAE, Ecuador. as General Service Supervisor & Sales Engineer.

1986-1988 ULTRATEC PETROLEO. Brazilian well services company as Area Manager.

1980-1986 DOWELL SCHLUMBERGER. In Peru, Ecuador, Colombia, Brazil as Sales/Service Engineer, Drill Stem Tester & Trainer, Cementing course Instructor, Service/Operations Manager, Station Manager and finally Country Manager. At one particular time ran all the company's operations in both Colombia & Ecuador simultaneously.
