Senior Mechanical Technician- Rotating Equipment
Duties and Responsibilities:
„« Assigned in Sarir Oil Field and Sarir Refinery as a Mechanical Specialist whose function is to provide technical support to all rotating equipment on both areas of responsibilities. (The oil field has an average production capacity of 200,000bpd of crude oil and 10,000 BPD of gasoline - refinery output)
Scope of Work:
1. Doing overhauling and preventive maintenance job.
2. Trouble shooting and do some modification of equipment such as impeller trimming if required( impeller will be rebalanced).
3. Vibration Analyzing: Using frequency spectrum and Phase tracking analysis (using SCHENCK vibroport 25, 30 & 41).
4. On shop balancing (using SCHENCK CAB -720 ) and field balancing(Using Vibroport 30 and 41) of rigid and flexible rotors.
5. Alignment using conventional dual gauges and ultra accurate laser alignment machine (Rotalign pruftechnik):
Kinds of equipment in the area of responsibilities knows to operate and repairs:
a) Rotary, Centrifugal, and Reciprocating pumps, and Compressors.
b) Familiarity on static and mechanical seals reconditioning and repair.

Electro-Mechanical Technician (General Maintenance)
Scope of Work:
1. Assigned in Waha Oil Company Head Office Building to maintain building heating and air conditioning system and its emergency generators set for uninterrupted power supply to the building.
2. Doing daily check to all equipment under my duty of responsibility.
3. Performed trouble shooting, preventive and maintenance of all equipments in the building. Tending operation of chillers (Centrifugal Hermetic). Took hourly records of parameters, adjustment of thermo coolers for more efficient machine performance. Starting, stopping and synchronizing of units as required.
4. Make daily reports: Weekly, Monthly and Yearly Operational and Maintenance activities in the Building Plant Room.
5. Assessed materials consumed and spare parts used and to be needed for future requirements of maintenance such as Chemicals for 2 Units Desal. Plants, Fuel being consumed by Boilers, Refrigerant and Oil for Chilling Plant (3 Units), Lube Oil for Diesel Gen. Sets and other consumables needed in Plant Operation and Maintenance.
6. On the job training to 4 Locals assigned in the operation and maintenance of Plant Room in the building.
Others:
ľ Performed water analysis, adjustment of chemicals feed pumps, mixing of chemicals (before) to be fed in the system; Chlorine, Iron, PH and TDS of Feed H2O and Permeate Water.
ľ Recording of Data for Daily/ Weekly/ Monthly/ Yearly Reportings.

Duties and Responsibilities:
„« As an Operator, report directly to Chief Engineer of the plant. Work on shifting basis -8 hours duty.
„« Responsible for starting, synchronizing, stopping and emergency stopping of the unit as required. Hourly reading of Main Units, accessories/ auxiliaries parameters. List down faults/ troubles and all activities encountered in entire shift. Adjustment of amperes, frequency, loads, voltage and others for optimum performances of the units.
„« Properly turn over to next Operator on duty. Remarks all the activities in Log Book and Log Sheets for Operators guidance to operators.

4. Doing preventive maintenance/ repairs and overhauling of the unit may either be Mechanical or Electrical. Acts as a Group Leader of 5 Crew (2 electricians & 3 mechanics).
5. Made Daily, Weekly, monthly and Yearly Reports in the Plant Room activities: Consumed Manpower, spare parts, fuel consumed, oil consumed, total generated wattage, kinds of troubles, maintenance applied and total running hours of the Plant.
6. Reports were Daily Log on Operators Log Book and Sheets for Daily Reference of Operator's itself.
