RRELEVANT TECHNICAL EXPERIENCE
* Completed a comprehensive regional prospectivity study of the northern Exmouth Plateau, a deep-water frontier region of the Northwest Shelf, including seismic interpretation, depth conversion, prospect ranking and risk analysis. The study included a review and refinement of the petroleum system.
* Several prospectivity studies of permits in the Timor Sea, Bonaparte Basin (offshore) and Pedirka Basin (onshore), including 2D and 3D seismic interpretation (Landmark and SMT software), review of the geological history and play concepts, prospect generation, mapping (CPS and Petrosys software) and preparation of farm-out material for clients.
* Involved in reserve audits and estimates of Yolla, Linda, Woolybutt, Wandoo and Cliff Head fields in Australia.
* Amplitude Versus Offset (AVO) and impedance inversion studies of seismic data over several prospects in the Timor Sea, Bonaparte Basin and offshore Taranaki Basin (Hampson & Russell?s AVO/STRATA/EMERGE software).
* Statistical depth conversion studies (Geovariance ISATIS software) to obtain uncertainties in time-to-depth-conversions of horizon data and subsequently to calculate probabilistic distribution of Gross Rock Volumes.
* Statistical rock physics on several wells on the Northwest Shelf to predict seismic response for different pore fluid saturations and fills. The results were typically combined with subsequent AVO modelling studies to reduce risk on identified prospects.
* Detailed ray-trace modelling of prospects in the Timor Sea and Taranaki Basin simulating pre-stack and post-stack seismic response to verify likelihood of structural interpretation and to model different fluid scenarios (Earthwave software).
* Processing of onshore 2D petroleum seismic reflection data, crustal-scale wide-angle seismic data and high-resolution shallow reflection data including pre-stack depth migration (Promax, Seismic Unix and Globe Claritas software).
* Refraction analysis of multi-component seismic data using P-wave and S-wave seismic travel-time inversion and shear-wave splitting analyses of seismological data for lithospheric modelling at regional scales.
* Seismic attribute analysis and shear-wave velocity inversion across the Alpine Fault in New Zealand for fluid prediction study.
