Maersk Oil An operator company in the Danish North Sea region and operating 5 jack up rigs.

Overall Summary & Highlights
Worked as wellsite engineer for 3 months and experienced multilateral and horizontal completion operations. Having completed the offshore rotations, started in the office as operations engineer and participated in the onshore rig team for planning of the horizontal multilateral ERD wells.

Key Tasks completed and Responsibilities held are:
- Preparing all drilling and completion programmes for multilateral horizontal wells with 25,000 ft length in liaison with reservoir engineers, well service and relevant service contractors,
- Reviewing and performing quality checks on all reporting produced from the rig and received from service companies,
- Designing directional and horizontal well trajectories in liaison with geologists, reservoir engineers and directional drilling contractors,
- Capturing and carrying out lessons learned and identifying operational parts to be optimized,
- Performing anti-collision calculations, torque & drag simulations, hydraulic calculations and liner running simulations,

Overall Summary & Highlights
Worked as Company Representative in more than 17 deep vertical (as deep as 13,000 ft) exploration and development oil and gas wells in a high pressure and high temperature environment using heavy mud weights as high as 20 ppg in Korpece, Akpatlavuk & South Yoloten fields of Turkmenistan. Major problems encountered and sucessfully overcame were differential sticking, mechanical stuck pipe, hole instability, shale swelling, shallow gas & well control issues. Experienced in sidetrack, fishing & coring operations in salt domes using oil-based mud.

- Preparing daily drilling report and drilling process instructions,
- Selecting drill bit & perform drill-off test,
- Prepare casing tally and supervise casing running operations,
- Establishing and managing good working relationships with drilling contractor & service companies,

Korpece Field (West Balkan Region): June 2003 – December 2004
Worked as a wellsite drilling engineer in deep vertical wells (as deep as 13,000 ft) with 10,000 psi BHP. Mechanical stuck-pipe, shale swelling, shallow gas & well control due to high pressure in production zone were the major problems encountered and sucessfully resolved. Experienced in fishing & sidetrack operations.

Akpatlavuk Field (Southwest Balkan Region): December 2004 – December 2005
Experienced drilling of deep vertical oil & gas producing wells with high pressures and temperatures. Mechanical stucking, shale swelling, shallow gas & well control were major obstacles to drill these wells. Due to existing mud volcano near to the wells, faults were encountered while drilling with the overcharged high pressured formation sections.

South Yoloten Field (Southeast Mary Region): December 2005 – June 2006
Worked Experienced drilling of limestone, dolomite & salt formations. After 9 5/8" casing, 8 ½" hole was drilled with PDC bit and hole was enlarged to 12 ¼" underreamer in order to set 7 5/8" liner. 100 meters of coring of salt dome was executed using oil based mud. Experienced in well control operations using oil-based mud with 2.4 sg mud weight.

- Worked in Perenco's Ankara ofice as an internship engineer
- Experienced use of OFM software to optimize production data of fields in Diyarbakir, Batman & Adiyaman
