WORK EXPERIENCE: January 2005 - Till Date
Currently employed as Petroleum engineer in the Reservoir Operations group, Petroleum business (E & P) for Reliance Industries Limited (RIL), India.
Responsibilities include management, well-site supervision, Quality control, analysis and reporting of Open/Cased hole MDT/RCI and DST/PLT well tests carried out in the shallow/deep offshore exploration blocks in the Western & Eastern Indian coast on Drillships, Jack-up rigs and Semi-submersible rigs.
The responsibilities include:
* Well-site decision-making pertaining to Tool Configuration to reduced chances of tool failure in tough environments.
* Well-site decision making to collect quality PVT samples for lab analysis.
* Well-site Quality reservoir data acquisition through formation testing.

MSc INDIVIDUAL PROJECT / DISSERTATION:
Pore-scale simulation of Reverse hysteresis in relative permeability saturation curves in strongly water wet porous media using a currently being developed new simulator.
MSc GROUP DESIGN PROJECT: ( DISTINCTION)
Students were provided with real data from a North Sea Field (Buchan field, naturally fractured reservoir), similar to that available to an Operator prior to a development decision with analysis resulting in an assessment of the reservoir and the design of an appropriate production system. Established an insight into the use of imperfect and incomplete data, to the integration of the various taught components of the course like Geology, Petrophysics, Reserve estimation, Recovery factor estimation, Pressure testing and analysis, Uncertainty and risk analysis, Reservoir simulation, Production profile forecasting and complete Economic analysis leading to the final Abandonment.
PROJECT (B.Eng.):
Research project in laboratory experiments conducted for Water Alternate Gas (WAG) injection as an Enhanced oil recovery technique on a live project (South Heera field, Bombay High) in the Water flooding lab at Institute of Reservoir Studies (IRS), Oil and Natural Gas Corporation Ltd. (ONGC) India, supported with case studies & technical papers in 3-D fluid flow behavior.
