Project brief:

To produce dehydrated gas and condensate prior to exporting via B 11DR-A to E 11R-BA, the B 11 Complex has been designed as a Not Normally manned (NNM) complex and being designed for SIPROD (simultaneous production and drilling operation) with sour (H2S) service facilities and to handle 2 x 600 MMSFD dehydrated gas. For gas dehydration, two units twister are installed to replace the conventional glycol system. This platform is first platform operated Twister to dehydrate gas in the world. The overall complex instrumentation system comprises a Yokogawa Distributed Control and Computer Assisted Operation System (DCS-CAO) to handle more than 850 I/Os and to be supported by 17 RIOS. The safety system comprises an Instrumented Protective System (IPS) to handle more than 550 I/Os, a Fire and Gas System (FGS) to handle more than 700 I/Os

2. CNR BAOBAB IVOIRIEN (MV 10) FPSO Topsides (19 Modules) Fabrication
Period: June '03 – Jan '04 (8 months in fabrication)

Project brief:

West Africa FPSO was owned by CNR International and to have rated capacity 70000 bopd, 75 MMscfd gas, 70000 bwd, 10000 bwd, (for sea water injection). This FPSO have 7 modules for pipe rack, Production separation module, IP Separation Module, Oil Treating module, Utility module, Power Generation module, Booster Gas Compression Module, Water Injection Module, Dehydration Module, E-House, Flare System module and Lay down Module.

3. Guntong – E Topsides (12,500 MT) Fabrication & Offshore Hook Up
Period: Feb '04 – Aug '05 ( 12 months in fabrication, 8 months Offshore Hook Up and Commisioning)

Client: Exxon Mobil Exploration and Production Malaysia Inc. (EMEPMI)

Project brief:

Guntong E is a compression platform designed to process and compress non-associated gas from, Gu-A, Gu-B, Gu-C, GuD-C, Tapis, Tabu, Telok and Bindu, to handle 540 MSCFD of gas, 30 KBD of hydrocarbon liquids and 15KBD of produced water. The main equipments are 3 x 22 MW Rolls Royce Turbo-Compressor for gas compression, 3 x 2.7 MW of Solar Turbo-Generator for power generation and Glycol Gas Dehydration System capacity of 540 MSCFD to meet sales gas specification of 6 lb/MSCF. The overall complex instrumentation system comprises a Honeywell Distributed Control and Computer Assisted Operation System (DCS-CAO) to handle more than 846 I/Os. The safety system comprises an Instrumented Protective System (IPS) to handle more than 516 I/Os, a Fire and Gas System (FGS) to handle more than 746 I/Os and Gai Tronics Intra-Platform Alarm and Communication System (GPA/PAPA). The field data from field instruments are transferred to Controller via hardwire system. Inter module communication system to be handled by fiber optics.

4. SUDP-A Drilling Topside (2000 MT) (EPCC Project)
Period: Sept '05 – Aug '06 ( 14 months in engineering and fabrication)

Client: Petronas Carigali Sdn Bhd (PCSB)

Project brief:

SUDP-A platform will be 2000 MT topside which can accommodate up to 28 conductor slots, unmanned with PMCS and Independent SIS/FGS system. The PMCS will be a Hybrid system and consist of a unified DCS with Foundation Fieldbus (FF) capability with associated equipment and utilizing industry standard hardware and software connectivity, integrates plant control and monitoring functionality with sequence logic capabilities and easy to use object based graphical user interface. SUDP-A will be supported by 179 nos of FF equipments, 4 nos of RIOS, 118 I/Os for FGS system and 632 I/Os for SIS system.

5. SUPG-B Central Production Platform (7,5000 MT) (CPP) (EPCC Project)
Period: Augt '06 – Sept '07 ( 14 months in engineering and fabrication)

Client: Petronas Carigali Sdn Bhd (PCSB)

Project brief:

Sumandak Selatan Platform (SUPG-B) is designed and to be developed as an Integrated Central Processing Platform, which will accommodate 18-slot drilling facilities, oil and gas processing facilities and water injection facilities in modular arrangement. It is to be developed as a remote platform to Samarang field with normally unmanned facilities as well as with capability for remote operation.
The PMCS shall be a Hybrid system and consists of a unified Distributed Control System (DCS) with Foundation Fieldbus capability and associated equipment and utilising industry standard hardware and software connectivity, integrates PMCS Plant control and monitoring functionality with sequence logic capabilities and easy to use object based graphical user interface. This will reduce the hook up work offshore and to reduce the problems of cable and panel congestion including multiples segregation.As much as possible the third party interfaces with other systems shall utilize Ethernet MODBUS TCP/IP or serial RS485 MODBUS. SUPG-B will be supported by 313 nos of FF equipments, 412 I/Os for FGS system and 751 I/Os for SIS system.

Responsibilities:

* To monitor and ensure that any drawing generated by the design work output is properly established to reflect all the required design detail.
* To plan, organize and co-ordinate the disciplinary MTO to meet specification within schedule for quality output.
* To manage and monitor issuance of construction drawings based on master planning package.
* To prepare weekly progress report and take apart on weekly progress meeting.
* To clarify and ensure the engineering design documents (specification, data sheet, hook up drawing, layout drawing, etc) are constructible and maintainable.
* To review and check the shop and fabrication drawings once the drawings issued.
* To perform the technical evaluation or any tender document submitted by Vendor.
* To clarify vendor quotation technically and to take apart in kick of meeting under procurement section co-ordination.
* To coordinate with Client's representative in instrumentation, suppliers and sub-contractor regarding work on the related equipments, material and manpower.
* To coordinate with procurement in vendor quotation technical evaluation, verification, review and approve the vendor drawings.
* To monitor and control instrument material status.
* To coordinate with other discipline engineers, superintendents, supervisors, etc on interdisciplinary matters and to communicate projects details between all members of the interdisciplinary team as required to assure continuity and integrity of design and construction
* To liaise with Material Controller in material inspection and material ship loose preparation.
* To liaise with Structural discipline in weight control report (WCR) preparation and checking.
