Contracts:

Had been directly responsible for entire tendering activities at Bahrain Workshop Company in the capacity of Head of Engineering and Estimation Department. My major achievement was the successful completion of tendering / contract activities associated with Line 5 Expansion Project at Aluminiun Bahrain (ALBA). The project involves construction of an additional potline with a production capacity of 300,000 tonnes of aluminium per annum. The design is provided by Aluminium Pechiney and constructed by International Bechtel Company Ltd.

I have independently managed tendering activities comprising of manufacturing packages involving over 20,000 tonnes of steel works and over 8000 tonnes of aluminium. Out of this, the Bahrain Workshop Company was successful in winning orders involving an estimated weight of 5300 tonnes of Steel and 7000 tonnes of Aluminium

Manufacturing activities are currently in progress and I continue my involvement in contract administration on the successful bids.

Quality Assurance:

Earlier I functioned as Quality Engineer / Management Representative as an additional responsibility from 1997 until 2000. I had the sole responsibility of documenting and implementing company quality system which was certified against ISO 9002: 1994 by M/s Det Norske Veritas. I continued to carry out this role until 2002 which included a re-certification of Quality System after the initial three years
