Working for S.N.C. LAVALIN INTERNATIONAL INC. Canadian Company acting like drilling and pipeline contractor in Libya, in position of cementing Supervisor, on Great Man-Made River Project. These projects include many water fields like TAZERBO, DJAGBUB, SARIR and pipeline connection systems. During this project my main duties were:
* Performed the cementing job for wells design including casing diameters between 4 ½¨ and 32 ¨ and depth to 1600 m and laboratory analyses for cementing and gravel pack operations.
* Carry out a cementing operations with FRACMASTER PUMP UNIT
* Managed cementing department activity with main responsibilities to:
-coordinated and supervised the work of the cementing team
-assisted in managing/training junior engineers, field engineers/technicians
- ensured safe working practices and conditions for successful operations
-prepared and accomplished the cementing programmes for routine development/work over operations, according to the procedures, during all drilling activities
-prepared the cementing programs for casing according well design and caliper log information
- prepared job recommendations based on the available job criteria and knowledge of discipline and past performance
--prepared the gravel packing programs for screen filters according drilling procedure, well design and caliper log information
-design, install and maintain a range of pumping according cementing programs
-evaluated the pumping process
- assured the routine maintenance on the cementing equipment
- ensured proper communication between cementing crew and rig crew during operations
- prepared post job reports
-prepared the mix fluid for cementing job with cement additives
-prepared the adequate program for loss of circulation of the wells
* the testing laboratory operations of the cement, hard cement (concrete), mud and gravel were done and coordinated in our laboratory from Sarir according owner request, ASTM and API standard and include,
-testing parameters of cement and cement slurry as:
- thickening time,
-slurry viscosity and rheological properties
- fluid loss,
-slurry density,
-stability of cement slurry
-testing parameters of hard set cement as compressive strength,

-testing parameters of gravel were done according ASTM, BSI or API standard according specifically manufactured procedure and include:
-sieve analysis for granulometrics test
-angularity of gravel
-organic impurity test and chemical analysis
The work also involves estimating and formulating requirements cement and chemicals required for project. The cementing job was performed with FRACMASTER PUMP UNIT; a Canadian brand pump unit similar with Halliburton or Schlumberger equipment and gravel pack operations were done with AQUA FRAC equipment.

Working for PETROS S.A. PLOIESTI, a Romanian Company, main service Company in special operations for drilling and production well of oil and gas industry.
Main responsibilities of my position were:
* Supervised cementing and packing operations, hydraulic fracturing and kill of well blow out, participated at 3 times to stop blow out from gas wells. Cementing job was performed for wells at 4500 m and casing diameters between 4 ½¨ to 32 ¨ with normal gradient of temperature or high.
* Coordinated and supervised the work of the cementing team and lead directly special operations at the oil and gas drilling wells, production and hydro geological drilling wells, as:
- Cementing - squeeze cementing,
- Cementing casing,
- Liner casing,
-multistage with DV
-cementing plug
-hydraulic fracturing or acidization for stimulation of the wells with acid or sand laden fluid pumped under pressure to improve production levels
- Pressure test to packers engaged
-prepare the cementing mix fluid with cementing additives
-testing rheological parameters of cement slurry as:
- thickening time,
-viscosity
- fluid loss,
-slurry density,
-stability of cement slurry
- testing parameters of hard cement as compressive strength,
-preparation of procedures/technologies for squeeze cementing of loss zone
-- ensure proper communication between cementing crew and rig crew during operations
- ensure safe working practices and conditions for successful operations
-prepare and accomplish the cementing programmes, according to the procedures, during all drilling activities
-prepare the cementing programs for casing according well design and caliper log information
- prepared job recommendations based on the available job criteria and knowledge of discipline and past performance
-designing, installing and maintaining a range of pumping according cementing programs
- assure the routine maintenance on the cementing equipment
-record cementing parameters in drilling report and prepare a report about cementing operations to drilling department and management department
-prepare the adequate program for loss of circulation, in special for water wells
-sand control operations for perforations
* Carry out a cementing operations with AC 500, ACF700/ACF1050 PUMP UNIT
* Prepared cement admixture with:
-bentonite, gilsonite, fly ash materials used for lower weight of cement slurry
- barite for increase density (heavier weight)
-silica (sand or flour) and weighting agents for wells with high temperature.
The cementing job was performed with AC 500 and ACF700/ACF1050 PUMP UNIT, Romanian brand pump unit equipment and gravel pack operations were done with BLENDER equipment for fracturing operations
