I am acting like lead pipeline engineer for one of the jobs (FEED, Detail design, procurement and construction) and assisting pipeline principle engineer in his jobs.
Main activities: preparation of pipeline route selection report, topographical survey scope of work and route map (participate with surveyor during Topo survey).
Wall thickness, hydrostatic calculation, stress analysis, expansion analysis, and development of material take-offs and integrity assessments of existing pipeline systems.
Provide detailing and reviewing of technical documentation relating to pipelines' construction and installation.
Design and detailing in accordance with acknowledged industry Codes, Standards and Design Guides, Client Specifications and Scopes of Work. Review of design documentation including feasibility reports, detailed design reports, construction drawings, and design specifications.
Develop the purchase specification fro all pipeline items, preparation of TBA, Approve the vendor documents and drawings, prepare (pipeline parts) and attending the design review meeting for the job.
Familiar with DEP,SP's SPE,and EDR for shell/PDO standard
Familiar with the following standard: ALL ASME/ANSI and B31.4/31.8, MSS,ISO,API,ASTM,BS,NACE
Oct 2004 – March2007 Project Engineer Brown & Root – Condor, Algiers
Project: In Salah (BP, Statoil & Sonatrach)
Project Value:
Project Engineer for Brown Field specialising in gathering system including minor modifications within the plant. Responsible for the following activities:
* Coordination of all activities between disciplines including, procurement, engineering and construction.
* Review and sign-off of designs, preparation of Work packs and resolution of engineering queries.
* Liaison with client including meeting management, report preparation and site meetings.
* Management of planning and cost reports, including developing any corrective actions.
* Preparation of CTR and cost estimate including constructability of all jobs on behalf of Project Manager.

Ensuring that all engineering work is fit for purpose and carried out in accordance with the priorities set out in the project integrated plan and adequate levels of the appropriate engineering resources are maintained sufficient to perform engineering activities in accordance with project schedules.
* Providing direction and support for all engineering personnel
Participating in the preparation and review of project plans and schedules, and in the preparation of progress reports.
* Visits to onshore sites/facilities to participate in meetings and carry out surveys and to give engineering input to any construction activities.
Ensure that all Engineering work complies with contract and clients health, safety, environmental and quality policies and procedures; project specific HSE and Quality plans; and agreed interfacing requirements with client, company, sub-contractors and others as appropriate.

Project: Looping of GEM 48" Gas Pipeline (Enrico Matti)
Project Value:
A 48" looping gas pipeline of 300km, seven block valves and an intermediate compression station. I started this project from the proposal to the construction my responsibilities As pipeline lead are as following:
* Man hour development and management, schedule and plan management
* Providing supervision, direction and support for Pipeline engineers
* Taking ownership of Pipeline discipline technical queries to ensure resolution to the satisfaction of all
* Preparation and review all drawings, schedules and documents necessary for procurement and installation of Pipeline equipment, ensuring all relevant specifications, procedures and codes are complied with.
* Contributing to the development of the plans, schedules and Man-hours estimate for work scopes and integrated plans

The project included all design, installation and commissioning for the collection of gas production from wells through a collecting system to the dehydration unit. As Lead Pipeline Engineer I was responsible for:
* Man hour development and management, schedule and plan management
* Providing supervision, direction and support for all Pipeline engineering personnel
* Taking ownership of Pipeline discipline technical queries to ensure resolution to the satisfaction of all

Project: GIS (Gas In Salah) for BP
Project Value:
Project was for a 48", 450km Export line and 38", 24" interfiled lines in Algeria for BP. Activities developed included:
* Soil resistivity survey and mitigation study.
* Construction development Procedures.
* Responsible for resolving all cathodic protection construction problems, material management and construction.
* Responsible for managing a cathodic protection construction crew consists of engineers and operators.
* Check the constructability of the engineering drawings
* Daily and weekly report for the superintendent
