Senior Reservoir Engineer, Groupment Sonatrach-AGIP (GSA)
FULL TIME EMPLOYEE
10 years esperience as a petroleum reservoir engineer.
July - Octobre 2005
Work with the consulting company Beicip Franlab in their headquater in Rueil Malmaison, Paris for the developpement of ROM and ZEA fields using Eclipse Software. I was responsible for the supervision and the following of the study. The study consists of building one model of many reservoirs (Triassic-TAGI and Devonien-B,C,D, F and G+Tadrart) and running many developpement scenarios including gas injection, water injection and WAG injection and eventualy artificial lift (Gas Lift and/or Electrical Submerged Pumps).
October 2002 Till now
Join the groupment Sonatrach-Agip and become responsible for nomiroring the oil fields of the 403 bloc of ENI and blocs 401and 402 of BHP. Develop reservoir simulation models using eclipse in the Headquater of ENI in Milan, Italy. Organize meeting to change experience with the other parteners (Anadarko, BHP, BP, Conoco Philips, Cepsa….) on the reservoir simulation and second recovery methods.
July 2000 - Juin 2001
Post Crossing to London Conoco Philips (ex Burlington Resources) Office as a reservoir engineer.
Run simulation studies using VIP simulator. Eventualy became involved in fields development studies and work with IRT (Intrenational Reservoir Technology, Denver, Colorado) and RC2 (Reservoir Characterisation Research & Consulting, London) engineers.
Develop reservoir simulation studies for the bloc 405 optimization. This job involved different senarios: Primary depletion, waterflood, gas injection and WAG, etc…During this period I participated in several meetings in Canada for 2 weeks, Holland 2 weeks (Surface facilities, FEED).
April 1995 - May 1997
Joined Sonatrach National Oil Company in November 1995 (the first company in Africa and the 10th biggest oil company in the world), and become responsible for monitoring reservoir and production performance, and proposing corrective measures when needed. Eventually became involved in field development studies to investigate and recommend secondary recovery projects. Have conducted detailed reservoir simulation studies using IMEX, CMG (Computer Modeling Group), VIP (Vector Implicit Program) simulators, and trained junior engineers.
