1.Over-all a working experience of 22 (+) years in E & P business. Joined Oil & Natural Gas Corporation (ONGC) in 1985 as a Geophysicist (S) and promoted to Senior Geophysicist (S) in 1988, Deputy Superintending Geophysicist(S) in 1995 and then Superintending Geophysicist(S) in 1998 (ONGC. is one of the national and reputed oil company in India ). In January' 2006 joined Kuwait National Oil Company (KOC) and presently working as an Seismic Interpreter.

2.Fourteen years of working experience in seismic data acquisition (2D/3D) in different on-land sedimentary basins of India. In 1993, brought out a manual entitled "2D Seismic Parameters Design" which is being continuously referred by Field Geophysicist in ONGC.

3.Full utilization of GEOLAND / GEOCLUSTER software (c/o CGG) has been carried out for modeling of different acquisition/ shooting geometry in 3D seismic survey, recovery plan for obstacles, data monitoring and QC jobs ( including creation of SPS files for use during 3D seismic data processing ).

4.Completed base survey (bin size: 10m x 10m) in a time lapse 3D seismic survey for fire front monitoring in an oil field of Cambay basin and 3D seismic survey (bin size: 20m x 20m) in highly inhabited and industrialized town of Gujarat state in India ( things has been made possible, which was impossible in last 15 years in ONGC ). The operation has been carried out in day and night with explosive and vibrators as seismic sources.

With strategic planning of seismic survey on day to day basis and effective management of field crew, completed many 3D seismic survey with cost effective manner within stipulated time frame and in turn brought out appreciable reserve accretion in those fields.

5.Nine years of extensive working knowledge in manual & Interactive Interpretation on WorkStation (Landmark). Hard work done during short period of time brought out result oriented experiences in a)Computer analysis of well data: LogEdit /PetroWork (3D cross-plots).
b)Identification of reservoir pay horizon on seismic section: SynTool.
c)Mapping/ analysis of horizon in 3D seismic data along with seismic attributes: SeisWork & SeisCube.
d)Fault mapping and their classification ( even of sub-seismic scale) through Spectral Decomposition and Advance Seismic Attributes: Post Stack Processing.
e)Contouring /preparation of map: Z-mapPlus.
f)Preparation of velocity data volumes (velocity derived from seismic, check shots and well data).
g)conversion of time domain map to depth domain maps: Depth Team Express.
h)Delineation of pay horizon by superimposing various depth maps and attribute maps.
i)Three-Dimensional visualization of depth maps.
During association with IISW, above knowledge has been utilized along-with integration of various G&G data for delineation of exploratory, exploratory step out and development well locations in Krishna & Godavary basins of India. "Later after drilling all the wells proposed were found to be hydrocarbon bearing".

6.Recipient of five no. of Certificate of Merit from the higher management of ONGC in recognition of my meritorious work during the years-2005, 2000, 1998, 1992, and 1987. Received appreciation letter from higher management for MR (Management Representative) activities towards QHSE certification.

7.Based on my work on Interactive Interpretation on Work Station ( IIWS: LANDMARK ), authored a paper entitled as "Seismic Attributes and Depth Maps as a Tool for Reservoir Delineation" and the same has been published in 3rd conference and exposition on Petroleum Geophysics held in year 2000.

8.Appointed Management Representative (MR) for accreditation of ISO-QHSE certification.

9.For up-gradation of knowledge, attended various training in Geophysics, Management, Computer Softwares, ISO viz.
a)training on "LANDMARK –Interactive Interpretation on workstation" at Kualalumpu in year 1995
b)training on "Integrated QHSE System (ISO 9001:2000,ISO 14001:1996 & OHSAS 18001:1999) in year 2004
c)training on "Geoland-Geocluster" from CEFOGA ( A division of CGG ) in year 2004
