Responsibilities also include

* Consolidate project material list & prepare purchase requisition & request for Quotation documents

* Co-ordinate with Project Engineers and organizes and carryout procurement activities for Project Procurements.

* Obtain Technical & Commercial offer and evaluate. Call technically qualified bidders for clarification and commercial evaluation.

* Assist the Project Engineers in preparing material submissions for Client/Consultant approvals.

* Identify Manufactures/Trading Agencies in the region. Evaluate company performance and capabilities based on credentials. Give due importance to project approved vendors and obtain new vendor approval whenever required.

* Hands on experience in performing procurement for Pressure Vessels, Heat Exchangers, Instrumentation & Electrical Items.

* Hands on experience strategically deciding major orders for manufactures and experienced the advantages gained in time, cost and risk.

* Good understanding of the importance of local knowledge and project specific requirements. Good knowledge of Bid evaluation procedures. Involved in strategic ordering cutting cost & time.

* The entire Procurement process like QR / QS / QVS / PO / OVS / IR / SR were performed using in-house software SMILE.

* Procurement process like issuing of QR through in-house e-procure software

* Supplier document management through WEBDMS
