WORKING EXPERIENCE

More than 7 years seismic acquisition, processing, Interpretation and reservoir Geophysics experiences with several major seismic companies and seismic processing contractor company. Good geophysical background knowledge and up-to-date with new exploration oil & Gas technology. Latest Project were involved in 2D & 3D Marine and Land for Rombebai and Yapen Blocks, seismic project acquisition and processing, prepare scope of work and tender documents, budget estimation and prepared/made presentation to Indonesia Oil and Gas Regulator (BPMigas), and worked as field geophysicist.

I'm familiar with many geophysical Seismic interpretation and Mapping (Landmark, TKS packages), T-D conversion methods (TDQ, DTE), seismic processing softwares (Promax and Geovecteur) and Reservoir Geophysics software (Hampson Russell Software, especially Inversion, AVO, attributes analysis using strata, AVO and emerges), also for seismic acquisition modelling software (OMNI).

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

1. SR. GEOPHYSICIST; NATIONS PETROLEUM (ROMBEBAI) BV & NATIONS PETROLEUM (YAPEN) BV.; FEBRUARY 2006 – NOW.

Working as Senior Geophysicist in Nations Petroleum for Rombebai and Yapen Blocks in Papua.
Rombebai block lies in the North Irian Basin, a structural depression which was filled by a thick sequence of late Neogene and Quaternary sediments.
Otus-1 well drilled in August 2007 with latest status P&A with minor gas.

Achievements:
- Preparing & supporting a huge 2D - 3D Seismic acquisition onshore, and Transition in Rombebai Block, and 2D-3D marine seismic acquisition in Yapen Block.
- Company representative for Yapen 2D and 3D Marine seismic Processing (Seismic Processing Contractor is Western Geco), preserved amplitude processing for AVO/AVA study, eliminate strong water bottom multiple, peg-legs multiple using SRME, Tau-P deconvolution and Radon Demultiple.
- Company representative for Rombebai 2D Land Seismic Processing (Seismic Processing Contractor is Elnusa Geosains).
- Interpretation, mapping and Prospects / Leads Inventory for Rombebai and Yapen Blocks and reservoir characterization (AVO) study for Yapen Block.

2. EXPLORATION GEOPHYSICIST; KNOC NEMONE & KNOC NEMTWO.; FEBRUARY 2004 – FEB 2006.

Worked as Exploration Geophysicist in Korea National Oil Corporation for North East Madura I and North East Madura II Blocks in offshore Madura. These blocks are carbonate reservoir rock. Responsible previously were seismic interpretation, and mapping horizons from Eocene (Ngimbang) - Plio-Pleistocene, re-processed with preserved amplitude and reservoir characterization study (Inversion) were held during interpretation to minimize exploration risks.

Velocity modelling was built using all geophysical and geological data available and made wells prognosis.

Several prospects were drilled (Wulan-1 (P&A with Gas and Oil show), Attiya-1 (Oil & Gas well), and Bintang-1 (P&A due to overpressure & Technical drilling problems).

2D seismic Acquisition were acquiring in both blocks to make better seismic grid.
Shallow gas hazard to be assessed using 2D Hi-Resolution seismic for those wells.

Besides all technical, I also responsible for managerial things, such as prepare Work Program & Budget, Authorization for Expenditure, evaluate geophysical contract, and make technical presentation to BPMigas and partners.

3. SEISMIC PROCESSING GEOPHYSICIST; ELNUSA GEOSAINS; AUGUST 2001 – FEB 2004

Worked as Seismic Processing Geophysicist in Elnusa Geosains, Leading Seismic Processing Contractor in Indonesia using Geovecteur / Geocluster software, I Involved processing or re-processing 2D-3D Land & Marine for several major seismic companies in Indonesia (Total Indonesie, BP Indonesia). Mostly processing/Reprocessing projects were preserved amplitude with Pre-Stack Time Migration.

- Re-Process 13 Lines 2D Seismic Musi Area – South Sumatera. The client was Exspan Sumatera (August – Sept 2001)
- Re-Process 2D DEVON's Seismic Lines since early October until December 2001.
- Process and re-process 3D -APN since January 2002 – December 2002 BP Indonesia.
- Re-process BERAU 3D Area since January 2002 – August 2002.
- Re-process Vorwata 3D area and Berau3D Extention since August 2002-December 2002.
- Re-process Sisi-Nubi 3D Area, January 2003 – March 2003.
- Re-process 3D Attaka Area, April 2003 – May 2003.
- Re-process PECIKO 3D since June 2003 – September 2003.
- Interpret 2D Seismic Buton Area, October 2003 – Januari 2004
- I processed Talisman Seismic Inversion in February 2004.

- Supervised two university students to get their Bachelor degree in Processing and reservoir geophysics study.
