Compile, analyze, and interpret highly technical engineering and geological data, such as reservoir characteristics, porosity, water saturation, pressure, temperature, reservoir area and volume, drive mechanism, and reservoir recovery factor. Study reservoir performance from first production to depletion. Store and retrieve oil and gas data in Technical Information Management System (TIMS). Apply petroleum engineering principle to calculate reserves such as volumetric, material balance equations, production decline curve, P/Z plots, and newly developed constant pressure and production type curve analysis. Knowledge and experience with deepwater reservoirs and well test data. Use computer software as Oil Field Manager (OFM), and (SQL) query language. Use extensively economics and statistics principle and techniques to solve engineering reservoir problems by using computer software Monte Carlo simulation program, use Access to manipulate data and use Excel for final product. Prepare field reserve reports and predict reservoir future production and performance. Participate in other special studies and project as such reservoir stimulation and water and gas secondary recovery. Provide on-the-job-training for less experienced personnel.
