(1) Karachaganak Phase III Feed Project

The Karachaganak Field is a large onshore sour gas-oil-condensate accumulation in western Kazakhstan, near the town of Aksai which has been in operation since 1984. The Phase III Project is aimed at managing the increasing GOR of the Karachaganak reservoir fluid with time and capturing the value in the gas reserves and the enhanced oil production by expanding oil and sour gas handling capacity.
Client: Karachaganak Petroleum Operating b. v.

Role: Worked as a Process Engineer on Fuel gas treatment facility and assisted Lead Process Engineer for generation and checking of various process documents and calculations such as P&IDs, Process Safety Flow Scheme (PSFS), Line sizing calculations, PSV sizing calculations, Cause and Effect Diagram and equipment datasheets

(2) Kovykta Regional Gas Project

The Kovykta Gas-Condensate Field (KGCF) is situated in Eastern Siberia 359 km to the north-east of the city of Irkutsk. The field is being developed to produce commercial hydrocarbon gas and associated condensate. The Regional Gas Development project will produce and sell an annual average of 2.5bcma of gas, delivered by pipeline to the local Irkutsk region, with the associated condensate being sold and shipped by rail.
Client: Rusia petroleum and East Siberian Gas Company
Role: Worked as a Process Engineer and assisted Lead Process Engineer for generation of various process documents and calculations. Major activity was P&ID generation for wellpad and gathering system and ensures its compliance with different philosophies related to wellpads, checking and updation of P&IDs to meet process requirements.

(3) Harweel Project

The objective of the Harweel Cluster Development Phase 2 Project is to develop the Harweel Area into a full gathering and production facility with the installation of the Harweel Main Production Station (HMPS) at the Harweel Cluster location using miscible gas injection in various fields to increase the ultimate oil recovery.
Client: Project Development of Oman

Role: Worked as a Process Engineer and assisted Lead Process Engineer for generation of various process documents and calculations such as Instrument Process Data Sheets (IPDS), Hydrate study report and related calculations.

(4) Kashaghan Development Experimental Program

The onshore facilities are associated with tranches 1, 2 and oil tranche 3 of the Experimental Programme Project for the Kashagan Field Development in Kazakhstan. The initial onshore oil processing plant consists of two tranches of 165,000 BOPD. These tranches are associated with two gas processing trains with a design capacity of 75,000 BOPDe equivalent gas. After de-bottlenecking study, three oil tranches are planned with two gas tranches to obtained required production for revised feed composition.

Role: Worked as a Process Engineer and assisted Lead Process Engineer for generation and checking of various process documents and calculations such as P&IDs, Line sizing calculations, preparation training manuals and equipment datasheets. Major activity was oil and gas processing unit expansion and de-bottlenecking study which includes convergence of simulation flow sheet for revised composition and flow rate and de-bottlenecking to achieve revised capacity. Different options are studied to achieve cost effective objective. Hysys 2004.2 and HTFS are used as simulation tools.

Worked in Central Technical Services for naphtha cracking plant: The facility is used to produce mainly olefinic hydrocarbons such as ethylene and propylene by thermal cracking of naphtha.
