JOB DESCRIPTION
Maintenance of a wide range of Electronic and Pneumatic process control instrumentation associated with pressure, temperature, level and flow including related, to a wide range of static and rotating equipments. Good knowledge of PCS, DCS, ESD, Fire & Gas, Metering, Vibration, Telemetry, fiber optic, PLC programming, ladder logic, cause & effects matrix and capable of loop-checking from field devices to control rooms. Experienced in Condition Monitoring, Troubleshooting analysis, Failures analysis and site equipment repairs including PSV, Valves, Actuators etc. Must be capable of interpreting project and vendor schematic/wiring diagrams, completing inspection and function test records and updating "as-built" drawings. Study and propose modifications when required for production or safety improvements. Experience with the rules, regulations and use of ex equipment in hazardous areas. Capable to follow equipments life and repair costs, down time estimation, planning of operations in coordination with other services etc. In charge of the jobs execution, respect of rules related to Work Orders, Work permits and Isolation permits. In charge of Tuning up maintenance procedures. Familiar with the use of Computerized Stock and Maintenance management systems troubleshooting, calibration, testing and repair of Control valves, internals, actuators and pneumatic accessories, including anti-surge valves. Electronic and pneumatic instrumentation, d/p cells, displacers, floats, pressure relays, pressure transmitters, positioners, switches (pressure, flow, level). Instrumentation and controls of gas turbine generators and compressors. Allen Bradley PLC, GE Fanuc PLC, Bently Nevada vibration monitoring systems. Purchase specification, requisition and installation of cables, conduits and trays. Commissioning and startup of instrument and electrical equipment of offshore platforms and refineries. Troubleshooting and reliability improvement of Instrument and Electrical equipment, with experience in offshore oil production.
