RESERVOIR ENGINEER
Responsibilities and activities included:
* Member of a client's multidisciplinary team charged with all the subsurface studies and activities in SPOL development project under collaboration with IPM team of Schlumberger (reservoir and simulation study, geological & petrophysical study, dynamic and static test design, supervision and interpretation, etc).
* MDT design and analysis of development wells (SPO1 & SPOA-3) to obtain the possible contacts situation. Integrating the results with saturation log data in order to crosscheck the wettability recognized by core analysis.
* PVT Characterization of all samples taken from the wells using PVTi. Preparing the appropriate input for Simulator.
* DST supervision and Analysis of development wells (SPO7, SPO1 & SPOA-3) to find reservoir and well parameters using WELLTEST200 and PANSYSTEM.
* Illustrate suggestions and ways to improve the previous work done and comment upon reservoir studies, undertaking computer modelling for optimized development plan of SPOL.
* Plan and monitor the progress of conventional and special core experiments (well SPOA-3). Reservoir Rock Typing of SPOL and Golshan fields, using different approaches (Hydraulic Flow Units, Porosity-Saturation Classification, and Porosity Variation) and identifying the initial and residual saturation, capillary pressure and relative permeability curves for different rock types based on core, raw and interpreted petrophysical logs.
* Defining the proper variogram using wire-line and MWD petrophysical logs and Property population in SPOL geostatic model by PETREL software.
* Evaluation and determination of new injector and producer well locations in SPOL and Golshan fields attending to their property model. Provide the proper simulator input file in SCHEDULE.
* Vertical flow performance analysis of well G1 and SPOA-3 (without and with ESP) by matching the observed data during DST done in PROSPER. Generate the output file for simulator.
* Constructing and updating the ECLIPSE dynamic model of SPOL based on all data. History matching with DST data and running the simulator for the proper EOR methods (Gas injection and water injection) to look for any pressure maintenance and identify the ultimate recovery and future production levels.
* Run Mont Carlo simulation by MBAL to evaluate the reservoir forecast with the prime goals being to determine IGIP and risk analysis in Golshan field.
* Perform material balance calculations to production performance forecast of Golshan field using MBAL.
* Constructing the dynamic model of Golshan in ECLIPSE and run the simulator for different production scenarios.
* Sensitivity Analysis for different aspects of the uncertainty in SPOL and Golshan Models. (Horizontal wells location and length, Wettability, Dual porosity and Single porosity, GWC and, etc.)
* Assist in preparing Golshan's Master Development Plan based on all available data and results.
