Chevron International Exploration & Production: Lead Rep, Roy Butler: Offshore, jack-up rig out of Escravos, Nigeria.
- Supervise drilling and completing of 8 to 12K foot directional wells.
- Promote safety in every phase of operations. Maintain excellent safety record, zero LTI occurred while on rig.
- Document lessens learned to improve safety and operations.
- Issue written forward plans daily to rig crews, in their native language.

Chevron Texaco Overseas Petroleum: Lead Rep on land rigs in Tengiz, Kazakhstan. Parker rig# 249: One year supervise drilling, completion, and testing of wells in the Tengiz, Korelov, and Ansagan fields.
- Supervise drilling, completing, and testing 4,000 to 5,500 meter wells, while maintaining an excellent safety record (zero LTI's while working rig).
- High hydrogen sulfide concentration (20 to 25%) in reservoir.
- Deal with extreme mud losses using CHCD, (closed hole circulate drilling technique) drilling under-balanced utilizing a rotating head to reduce mud losses.
- Drilled Ansagan #1, exploration well with night trainee as night drill rep.
- Trained national employees and support nationalization process.
Parker rig #107: Two years supervising work-over, completion, deepening, and testing of wells in Tengiz and Korelov fields in 4,000 to 5,500 meter wells. Maintain zero incidents while working rig, and won rig of the year based on safety record both years.
- Promote nationalization process, working all national employees, with the exception of day tool pusher, electrician, and mechanic.
- Closed-hole circulating technique required on deepening jobs, (form of mud cap drilling with positive pressure).
- High concentration of hydrogen sulfide in reservoir.
- Trained and utilized national employees as night supervisor.

Senior Drill Rep, 2002
Chevron Texaco Overseas Petroleum: Office and supervision of land jobs, Papua New Guinea.
- Filled in for Drilling Superintendent.
- Supervised upgrade to Chevron owned rig #1.
- Used rig #1 for work over operation on well IDT-2.
- Inventory and stack Chevron owned rigs #1 & 2.
- Prepare programs, prepare simops plans, and supervise coil tubing, wire line, and pumping jobs on various wells, prior to Chevron selling lease.

Senior Drill Rep, 1999 - 2001
Chevron Overseas Petroleum: Lead Rep, inland barge in Lake Maracaibo, Venezuela.
- Participated in planning stages of the LL-652 project in Lake Maracaibo, Venezuela.
- Prepared plan for minimal discharge, collecting all cuttings, and fluid from drilling operations.
- Set up injection barge next to rig and supervised injection of cuttings and fluids (from 3 rig operation) into disposal well while continuing supervision of normal drilling operations on Ensco #1.
- Spud first well with the Ensco #1 rig.
- Batch drilled 16 conductors on the Southern Jacket.
- Reduced drilling, completing, and moving rig time from 40+ days per well to less than 12 days over three year period.
- Released final rig from the LL-652 project when campaign ended.
- Trained four national engineers and utilized them as my night supervisors for this project.

- Sent as part of team to plan, write contracts, and drill 2 exploration wells offshore Qatar.
- Supervise drilling of two shallow wells, 4600 ft and 8400 ft.
- DST first well drilled.
- Filled in for project manager.

Chevron Overseas Petroleum: Lead Rep on land / helicopter rigs in Papua New Guinea.
- Drilled the 8 ½" hole section on Moran #3, logged well.
- Moved Parker rig #160 to Moran #4. Drilled, completed, and tested well.
- Coil tubing work on Moran #2, perform acid job.
- Drilled Moran# 5, and logged well. Side tracked well.
- Trained national employee for night supervision.
- Filled in as needed for Drilling Superintendent.

Cabinda, Angola and Banana, Zaire.
- DST well with semi, PB 16 rig.
- PNA subsea well with semi Nymphea.
- Rigged up jackup rig, High Island 9 after hiring rig from bare boat charter work.
- Platform work from tender support self-erecting vessels Albaraka and Sea Rex X.
- Drilled 15 to 18K ft wells while conducting SimOps, on Kokongo platforms.
- Chosen as team member to optimize SimOps procedures.
- Changed and implemented changes to SimOps plan to allow producing wells on platform while moving rig to next slot.
- Implemented changes to allow drilling surface hole next to adjacent wells utilizing the close proximity guidelines.
- Worked in Cabinda office and field, on North N'dola project.
- Supervised actual work on Sea Rex X to tie back 5 sub sea wells, and 2 mud line tie-backs with out use of an ROV.
- Aided in writing programs, and ordering materials.
- Witness stack-up of Vetco sub sea tie-back gear in Aberdeen Scotland.
- Order frac spread and rig up on tender support vessel, (eliminating need for frac vessel).
- Cleaned out wells, frac, and complete wells. Well A-7 had 4 separate frac intervals.
- Chosen to examine rigs outside of the company, for possible hire while working in Angola. Helped to short list self erecting tender support and semi selection.
- Batch drill conductors off PetroBras 11 on the Takula "O" platform.
- Drilled two far reach wells off of the Takula "O" platform.
- Worked on the Roy Butler offshore Zaire drilling horizontal wells.
- Complete and test wells, offshore Zaire.
- Trained national employees as future company men.

Chevron UK: Lead Rep on offshore semi work, north-west and north-east coast of Scotland and the south east coast of England.
- Drilled and DST 9 exploration wells from Ocean Liberator, Ocean Bounty, and the John Shaw.
