Work Experience
Geologist – Swift Energy Company (April 06- present)
South Louisiana
* Work as an exploration and exploitation geologist on Swift's South Louisiana Properties and identify potential opportunities.
* Conduct regional and local studies integrating the interpretation of well logs, seismic, sequence stratigraphy and geophysical data to identify new plays and exploration concepts.
* Generate new prospects, propose wells, develop well plans, and provide recommendations to the management for leasing, drilling, recompletion and workover activity.
* Work with the reservoir engineering, land and drilling departments to analyze the economic viability of wells and plan an efficient drilling program.
* Evaluate reserves on Swift assets for SEC reserves booking utilizing 3D seismic mapping, petrophysical and volumetric analysis.
South Texas
* Conduct regional and detailed structural and stratigraphic mapping and identify new trends and drilling opportunities.
* Analyze well logs, generate cross sections, net sand maps and produce a depositional model and establish play fairways across the study area.
* Procure well log, 2-D/ 3-D seismic data and work with the Geophysicists to plan the locations for the acquisition of new 3D seismic data.
* Generate synthetics from wells and tie them with the 2-D/3-D seismic data and produce a regional velocity model.
* Provide geological input to the management regarding the acquisition of new assets and exploration strategies.

Geologist – Corrigan Consulting, Inc (Feb 2005- Dec 2005)
* Oversight of drilling, sampling and well installations, made well plans, decided new drill locations and conducted field inspections.
* Generated maps, borehole logs, stratigraphic cross sections and site wide conceptual models.

* Worked as an onsite geologist on Oil and Gas wells around New Mexico, Texas and Wyoming.
