Weatherford Completion Systems (WCS) Malaysia / Clients: Shell and EPMI.
Working for Weatherford, in Labuan, Miri, Kemanman and Kuala Lumpur. Assisting in sourcing correct equipment for utilization, in diverse well applications and requirements. Prepare equipment in accordance with the final job order, rechecking all relevant details with regard to the specification. Make up equipment with WCS staff, conforming to the particular standard required. Observe/witness test procedures, during the make up of the equipment. Travel out to the rig and pre job check the equipment on location, ensuring the correct amount and type of equipment are on location.
1999 to Sept 2002 Technician Service Tools
Baker Oil Tools / Algeria, Clients: ANADARKO, AGIP, ARCO, BHP, BP, BURLINGTON (Ex LLE), CEPSA, SONATRACH DF and DP departments.
Whilst working for Baker in Algeria, the operations were variable in terms of the equipment run as many clients operated in extremely diversified fields.

Work History
Ħ 1998-1999 Well Service Engineer for Bunduq Oil Company (Abu Dhabi) In charge of liner / completion operations (offshore based) reporting to the Drilling Superintendent on land, with regard to planning, risk analysis, execution of the job, and updating well data files for the partners. Equipment type used in these particular applications was the Baker Hyflo 3 mechanical set liner hanger, with ZXP pack off due to the type of the well configuration.
Ħ Also in charge of slick line operations, helicopter moved slick line / E/Line logging, and coordination of acid boats. Christmas tree maintence and removal with associated wire line operations. All equipment installed, was designed for the 14 % H2S environment.
Ħ 1996-1998 Multi-lateral coordinator Muscat based. (7" X 4 1/2" & 4 1/2" X 2 7/8) Daily contact with the client (PDO) and preparing quotations for multiple wells, requiring M/L equipment. These wells were mainly completed with screens in both drain holes, which were run in firstly with the MLZXP liner hanger set in the in the first drain hole. Then a anchor was oriented and positioned with a whip stock normally 25 degrees left of high side, the window was made in the 7 inch casing and the second drain hole drilled to TD. The whipstock would be pulled and a diverter run to allow the first drain to be produced in conjunction with the second drain hole. This was tied back to in the casing, and the final completion run in the well.
Ħ 1994 -1996 TST (Technician Service Tools) Baker Oman, preparing equipment for rig operations and running liner operations. During these two particular years of contract with PDO being the main client, operations were based upon twenty two rigs drilling with a minimum of two different sized liners run on each rig. Drilling depths varied from just 1200 meters to over 6000 meters, with a very quick drilling phase to the shallower 1200m depth taking just 3-4 days to over 3-4 months with regard to the deeper 6000 m wells. The types of liner hanger run varied from a basic C-2 setting sleeve, to a rotating Flexlok liner hanger. With tie backs being run in nearly every occasion, these being a CPH or JM. Or an integral ZXP, liner top packer.
Ħ 1993-1994 Self employed in Siberia, specializing in Arctic condition wire line and completion techniques. (Subcontracted to Schlumberger)
Ħ 1991-1993 Wire line Supervisor Otis Pressure Control, supervising all wire line operations including fishing. Completion work and intervention work.
Ħ 1988-1991 Wire line Supervisor Smedvig Petroservices, preparing programs for the customer (Statoil) for wire line operations, with regard to ongoing program (daily) on 7 inch completions in the Statfjord field.
Ħ 1983-1988 Geoservices Operations manager Norway, daily running of office and managing operations offshore on the Statfjord C, Gullfaks A, B, & C platforms, in regard to mud burning (burner booms, burner heads, and choke manifolds and other waste materials.
Ħ 1981-1983 Wire line Supervisor Geoservices based in Paris, working in France, Gabon offshore (Port Gentil). Performing all wire line work on rigs and platforms, for completions and maintence operations.
Ħ 1982-1983 Geoservices Senior Sales representive Houston Texas, original task to set up office and warehouse near to Northbelt, for maintence of Down Hole Pressure and temperature gauges, install hi tech calibration cell for the gauges. Procure work for the gauges and employ US citizens, trained by myself to perform survey work in the USA.
Ħ 1974-1981 Wire line Operator Otis, commence work as a D helper, and worked up to the highest attainable position of A2 Wire line operator. Also trained in the USA, for 6 months, out of Lake Charles Louisiana. Going to all jobs in the area to get experience, in different applications of liner hangers. (Onshore and offshore)
