Apr 2007 to till date WorleyParsons WLL, Qatar. – Sr. Instrument Engineer (Systems Upgrade Project, Occidental Petroleum Qatar Ltd)
WorleyParsons, Qatar (WPQ) is awarded Engineering Contract for on-going Projects at PS1 Complex – Offshore facilities of Occidental Petroleum Qatar Limited (OPQL).
As part of this contract, WPQ is providing detailed engineering support for upgrading the Control Systems (DCS, ESD and F&G) at PS1 Complex.
I am presently assigned as Project Lead Engineer on the Control Systems Upgrade Project for the PS1 Complex of Occidental Petroleum Qatar Limited.
Major responsibilities include offshore site surveys, engineering design, detailed engineering, material requisitions, technical bid evaluation, co-ordination with Electrical and Structural disciplines, developing cable schedules, network block diagrams, cable routing drawings, review of system engineering deliverables from control system vendors, developing multidiscipline workpacks (construction and commissioning) and provide commissioning support.
Other responsibilities include progress reporting, planning of engineering activities for the DCS team, review and revise CTR, provide FEED study report for new DCS Controller in PS1G platform (as part of the Systems Upgrade Project) and developing project standards inline with OPQL requirements.
Completed the mandatory safety training courses (H2S, PTW and HUET) and fully aware of the safety requirements for working offshore at OPQL facilities.

May 2006 – Mar 2007 Project Engineering Manager - Global Engineering Services – Honeywell Automation India Limited., Pune, India.
Worked as Project Engineering Manager for Shell Pearl GTL,,Qatar.
Major responsibilities include Design, Engineering & Commissioning of Honeywell DCS, ESD & F&G Systems. Honeywell –EPKS (Experion) is used for Process Controls while Safety Manager is used for ESD & Fire & Gas Systems.
Heading the Project Engineering team at Honeywell, Pune, responsible for System Design & Engineering for Shell Pearl GTL Project.
