ABOUT SHELL PETROLEUM OMAN(PDO).OMAN
M/s SHELL petroleum,Oman is one of the biggest oil plant in Oman.It producing
700,000bpd of crude oil.
Gas Turbines(SOLAR-CENTUR40,RUSTON-TA1750,TB5000) are used to drive the
Compressors Trains(LP,MP,HP),Pumps-Multistage.
Gasliftcompressors(SOLAR,NUOVO PIGNONE,DRESSERCLARK,BORSIG) are used to
Lift the oil.
Shipping&Booster pumps (UNION,DAVIDBROWN,COULDS,WEIR,SULZER) are Used to
Transfer the oil to terminal station.
Gas blowers (DEMAG),Instrument air Compressors(ATLAS CAPCO) are used to support the plant.

NATURE OF WORK
* 6 monthly,1 yearly &3 yearly Preventive Maintenance of Gas Turbines,Compressors,Pumps,
Blowers,Diesel Generators(Caterpillar) etc,
* Trouble shooting, Overhauling and Reconditioning of all types of Rotating Equipments.
* Maintenance of all types of Steam Turbines.
* Maintenance of High Pressure Centrifugal and Reciprocating Compressors.
* Maintenance of Multistage Centrifugal Pumps and Reciprocating Pumps.
* Assembling and Dismantling of Mechanical Seals like John crane, Dura metallic.
* Experience in all Types of Alignment procedures such as in Rim and Face and Reverse Dial Alignment.
* Maintenance of Centrifugal, Rotary fans and Blowers.
* Experience in Major Turn around and Shut down jobs.
